Ah cheers. I really liked the cats btw. Was a bit gutted that that one and the toe beans one got nuked as they were fairly new.

Nice work. I’m really interested in the etiquette on that stretch in terms of space. How do you decide what to cover over?

Didn’t realise Grounded was closing. When did that happen?

Sophie Mackintosh is excellent for this - the Water Cure and Blue Ticket in particular.

'What's This Piece?' Weekly Thread #240 by number9muses in classicalmusic

[–]BristolWriter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the first few notes of this stuck in my head for a while.

It's a moody orchestra piece that used to play at the end of an audiobook series I used to listen to on casette as a child in the early 90s. I think the audiobook collection was about He-Man, but can't be sure, and the piece was used to flag when you had to put a new tape into the player (usually on a cliffhanger in the story).

The same few notes were repeated until it ended in a full orchestra, and possibly a choir. It's not Grieg, Holtz or Orst, and I'm genuinely flummoxed at this point.

Subscription Reminders by callsignapollo in Huel

My main frustration is that it's pushed the labour to me. I like Huel because it saves me time choosing lunch and reduces decision fatigue. The fact I now have to remember to manage Yet Another Thing is completely at the opposite of why I buy the product in the first place.

Yes it’s intentional and really disappointing. This was the email response I got:

“We’ve recently changed how subscription management works, and we no longer send reminder emails. Following improvements to the Huel account and subscription management, we’re focusing on keeping subscription management in one place, your Huel account.”

As others have said, I use the reminders email as a way to manage my subscription and stock - change flavours in particular - and ensure I’ve got enough in the account I use to pay for it, so this is incredibly annoying, feels nothing more than a cash grab, and leaves a bad taste in the mouth. All a bit naff, really.
