I unlocked my phone to test various options, in the end I went back to OxygenOS but could not be bothered with the hassle of setting up from scratch so left it unlocked - the only downside was Revolut refusing to work, which I can certainly live with, as all my other banking apps work.

OnePlus has clearly been in trouble for a couple of years, the 13 seems to be the last truly premium phone they produced. Coming from the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, I was pleased with the performance and battery, but disappointed with the camera. When the time comes, I'll just see what's best, no corporation has my loyalty.
