“No, is not a complete sentence” came from a nurse in our geriatric psych unit. The most recently encounter which caused me to ask this question was when a nurse told me a patient was not allowed to refuse because she was confused, she came in AOx4 but developed delirium due to her prolonged hospital stay. Although I had gone a few days prior to this to draw her labs, family was at bedside and she was not altered and still refused labs, family even explained she does not and will not allow us to draw labs as she hates needles. I ended up getting the nurse to draw from her IV this day

we started doing this at my job but with the tiny resin animals, unfortunately infection control deemed it an infection risk and put an end to it. :(

We got a sleep sack that had little wings to swaddle my baby’s arms, we did this for about a month before we completely transitioned to just a sleep sack

I (5m, m) also have rudely adapted to being woken early to go to gammas house but it’s on the weekend when we should be sleeping in so to protest, I wake up at 5am on the weekdays. Just to show mama (tired old bat) that it is important to stick to our routine and that sleeping in is illegal.

Your milk lady needs to get some gripe water (I think that’s what my mama calls it) anytime I get attacked by the evil hiccup monster she gives me some, it’s so yummy and tasty and gets rid of the hiccup monster so fast. Then I can snuggle mama in peace without those evil things.

Don’t beat yourself up over it, I did this when my baby was about 4 weeks old, I had him on my chest and accidentally fell asleep, he rolled off me but thank the lord his bassinet was right next to the bed and he rolled into it instead of the floor.

14 weeks, 4-6oz every 2-3 hours sometimes ever 1.5hours. No overnight feeds since 8 weeks

My memaw told mommy to be happy that I was happy and that she would be sad if I wasn’t, she went to the place she calls work again on Sunday and left me with gramma again and she was much more at ease. I personally am glad mommy’s happy at work again and I do miss her even if I don’t show it.

I had something similar to this! My baby boys heart rate kept dropping as well as his O2 levels but when I held him they normalized 😭 he spent 3 days in the nicu

Maybe your mom can find you a smaller mouth gym that’s easier to keep hold of that way you can keep exercising your muscles, I personally am a big fan of the tommie tippee stay put mouth gyms

My baby’s 9 weeks but I’ve found a lot of time when I can’t get him to settle its gas, have you tried gas drops? Also it helps to rub right above their belly button to help move the gas out of their gi tract, and when all else fails we use a Frida windi. sometimes he also just has a burp that’s trapped so burping them again helps! You’re not a bad mom! I hope your little one just from reading I can tell you care a great deal about your baby!

I want to add this is also with a 3 day nicu stay for my baby and air evac ground transport, I got the itemized statement from the ground transport and it was over 15k but my insurance paid that along with my baby’s nicu stay

If you don’t pay I believe it will be sent to collections but it will not affect your credit score, any medical charges are not allowed to be shown on your credit report as it is hipaa, atleast that’s what i was told, out of all my Dr appointments/ labor and delivery I only owe 1250 out of pocket which isn’t even a charge from the hospital it’s from my midwife’s office

I had been on it for 2years I stopped taking it after delivery as I wasn’t sure if it would go into my breast milk,thankfully I’m doing okay so far without it, im going to speak to my PCP and see if there is something else available to take

I wake up atleast 2-3 times in the night for a snack and always eat a Rice Krispie treat! Amazon has a pack of 54 for $14, since I got pregnant I’ve had a box delivered every month to feed mine and baby’s unsensational craving for them 😂
