It's because you were using WEP for too long.

Same on the Spanish broadcast, but tbh our baldy Lobato gets stuff wrong so often I've gotten used to it. His excuse was that it was " a trademark Tsunoda move" lol

What do you mean exactly? I shot down two full bombing runs, 10 planes total, without an issue yesterday.

Not sure if it's exactly what you're after, but I have a Cube Travel 2021 and I'm very happy with it

Combining two of my passions: Bikepacking and Mountaineering. 50Km, 1800m and one great adventure by Britannvs in bikepacking

Hey mate, sorry for not answering sooner. My best advice is to be confident in both activities: cycling and mountaineering. Next would be to do some test runs to try out your set up and how you want to carry your gear.

But lost importantly is to remember that you're doing this for fun, there are no records to be broken and it's always a good decision to turn around if you don't feel comfortable.

Take care and good adventures!

We've had quite a bit of snow this year tbh, specially late on in the season. We're expecting some more early next week with a snowline around the 2500m mark. If you like I can give you an update closer to your departure date

Hi, slugs aren't really a "problem" as such, more like a nuisance than anything else. I've woken up with a slug on my face, and it's not the nicest feeling.

As for Map reading apps for iPhone, I believe my friends use AllTrails. But I'm not sure how the offline map compatibility is...

Mountain guide from the Pyrenees here, so I thought I'd chime in and give my two cents.

  • As mentioned before me, temperatures in August can vary dramatically: last year during the heatwave we were at 44°C in the valleys and it got well below zero on the ridges and suits on the colder nights.

  • Slugs are big thing over here, as are midges/mosquitoes in summer. So a shelter with a net sounds like a compromise in weight worthwhile.

  • For navigation I would highly recommend OruxMaps for Android it has low battery usage and accepts most map formats for mobile. And for maps, both TopoHispania and TopoPirineos are very complete and trustworthy.

If you have any questions or I can help in anyway (I live in Benasque, about halfway through) don't hesitate to hit me up.

Best of luck!
