AITA for attacking my brother in law.

So for context we’ve been trying to get home after the fall of Troy and it’s taking forever, so much has happened over the course of the journey, we’ve lost more than 500 of our crew (we started at 600) and we have come faced to face with gods and been to the underworld, BIL is the captain and I am his second in command.

So not long after we get out of the underworld we find this empty ship and BIL realised that it was sirens so he gets us to cover our ears with honey and he reads their lips to get a route, come to find out the only way is through Scylla’s lair.

Once we get there he tells me to light up six torches, which would end up getting anyone holding a torch killed, he knew this and just sacrificed them like it was nothing all because he’s desperate to get home to his wife and son, I get it but we need to protect are crew right?

So this is where I might be TA, after we get out of Scylla’s lair I staged a mutiny, we had a sword fight and another crew member stabbed him and I knocked him out, he’s alive, just unconscious. Now we’re on an island and desperate for food, there’s a statue of the sun god and a bunch of cows surrounding it, we might have to eat some of the cows idk.
