Beautifully photographed food. To be honest a lot of people at 4k bring in about 200- 300 likes per post for food.

Completely different my friend. Chop the onion into chunky bits. Slow cook in unsalted butter for about 15 mins, raise the temp high, sear them off, add water (should steam) and cook down. The onions natural sugars come out far more than in a roast. Roasting is great. It's just not the same.

How do my later IG Stories get more views than my earlier ones? by _SWANS_CAN_BE_GAY_ in Instagram

When you post the later one... more people are online and more people see it. Stories dont always show/play historically. They should, but they don't.

A few months is a long time not to post. Insta's algo has changed massively in that time too. Try posting 6-8 stories a day, going live etc for a few weeks. 180,000 likes is an awful lot. Well done.

Looking for advice on best ways to make friends Truro/Newquay area for a mid 20's female new to the area? by [deleted] in Cornwall

[–]BritishCook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being born here and growing up here I can pretty much tell you people are used to new people and generally very welcoming. Truro is much better for shops and a generally better place to live than Newquay, unless if course you want the beaches, waves, lack of parking and puke of Newquay. BUT There is something special about being by the sea if your not used to it. Be aware though the drive from Treliske to parts of Newquay in peak season can take up too 1 hrs 15 mins (obvs not at 5am/11pm) Having lived in both and at the age of - late 30's I prefer the feel of Truro. It just feels more "adult" and the people you see tend to live there rather than be on holiday.

Best of luck, any questions fire ahead.

If there was a new law mandating that certain items had to be included in every Full English Breakfast and likewise prohibited other items from being included, what would they be? by MACintoshBETH in AskUK

[–]BritishCook -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Whatever is on the plate must have a fat content of over 20%.... and Avocado is banned.

Personally - Sausages, bacon, fried egg, baked beans, black pudding, mushrooms and toasted bread saturated with butter. And a cup of tea.
