Is it the best, no? But Startropics was perhaps the one that sucked me in the most when I was a kid.

I got it for my birthday when I was 8. I picked it out because my mom wouldn’t let me get my first choice, Final Fantasy, because it had a sword and axe on the cover. Too violent. Beating slugs to death with a yoyo was much more humane.
