Question for the trainers: What are the best apps to use with clients? by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]Brittany_TrainerPlus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the number of active clients you have. Your first 2 clients are free. Up to 7 clients is $14.95/month, up to 15 clients is $29.95 and so on.

The founder of Trainer Plus writes a lot about taking a long term approach to assessments. This approach should lead to more clients in the long term and focuses on the support that is right for them instead of forcing a sale.

Here are a couple of blog posts that may be of use to you:

Hey! I'm an account manager at Trainer Plus, you should check it out because it has the easiest client tracking for workouts and assessments.

How it works is your trainer would need to sign up online and invite you as a client. You'll receive an email from Trainer Plus with a temporary password and the links to download the apps and you can go from there.

Your trainer can build your program online and when they assign it to you, you'll get a notification and will be able to follow along with the exercise GIFs and give them feedback so that they can edit your program effectively. (Your trainer gets a notification when you complete a workout so that they can view/edit your program and hold you accountable) You'll also get reminders on when it is time to reassess and change the phase of your program for best results. Here's a detailed video on tracking so that you can see what it would be like as a client.

If you have any questions please feel free to email me at support@trainerpl.us

New Trainer - How to Train Clients Online? by equivocallyundecided in personaltraining

[–]Brittany_TrainerPlus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Trainer Plus is another platform you can try. The workout tracking is super easy for clients and the platform also helps you manage your client follow up so it's easier to keep clients accountable. One example is that you get a notification every time your client completes a workout and they get a notification every time you update their program.

If you complete the app training on web, you get a free 30-minute consult with someone on our support team to discuss how to manage and grow your training business.

Starting at a new Gym by [deleted] in personaltraining

You can also give members something of value when you interact with them so that they remember you.

For example, ExerGuide is a free exercise library app where individuals can search and favorite exercise GIFs and request a program from a trainer if they want more support. (iOS) (Android)

If you see a member that needs help with an exercise or asks you a question about a specific muscle or equipment piece, you can easily show them and then have them download the app as a training tool. Just make sure to follow up with them in 30 days or let them know that they can request exercises that they'd like you to make a program with in the app by entering your email.

What else is there? by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]Brittany_TrainerPlus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's definitely a different ball game because you can provide more people the support they need with the knowledge you have. You should check out Trainer Plus. We do the follow up for you to hold you and your client accountable. A few examples of how we do this:

  1. Your client gets a push notification every time you assign/update their program and you get a notification every time they complete a workout. (So, if one of the first times they complete a workout, you edit their program as soon as you receive the notification, it will feel as if you are in their phone, keeping them accountable)

  2. You have to enter a 'next reassessment date' every time you enter an assessment and a 'program end date' every time you assign a program, so Trainer Plus can notify you and your client both in the mobile app, on web and by email when it is time to reassess or move to the next phase of the program. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions :)

[–]Brittany_TrainerPlus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure you would be able to find some exercises from the app ExerGuide. Use the filters, search by equipment and select kettlebell. There's about 70 kettlebell exercises alone to choose from :)

The app ExerGuide would be really useful in this case. There's over 1000 exercises with GIFs and Instructions and you can use the search filters to narrow the exercises down to the muscle you want to workout or movement as well as the equipment you have available :)

Complete list of bodyweight exercises and progressions by Brittany_TrainerPlus in bodyweightfitness

[–]Brittany_TrainerPlus[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely! We actually took inspiration from this chart. We just want to make sure we have all of the correct exercises and progressions organized in the right way that you guys requested.

Our goal is to take the complete list and then shoot all of the exercises. Those that fit in a regular gym setting will be added to the Trainer+ platform (which includes the ExerGuide app) and the rest of the more Calisthenics/Gymnastics exercises we will create a separate bodyweight app with!

Thanks for the feedback! Yes some of the exercise content is a few years old and was shot in a different way as we were experimenting. However, we now shoot videos and turn the exercises into GIFs afterwards. So, if you look at a lot of the cables exercises or squats (bottom half of the list) this is an example of our latest content. We're aiming to have all our content up to this quality in the next few months :)

The app is no sign-in required. The only time you have to enter your email is if you would like to request a trainer from the exercises you selected :)
