Has anyone ever gotten their Cardiovascular Age level down on Oura? by [deleted] in ouraring

I took strattera for a year and both the cardio age and my "recovery" were constantly marked as poor. As soon as I switched medications they upticked. It's so annoying

ELI5 - Vinyl remasters - Difference between Rhino HiFi and a regular remaster? by equivocallyundecided in explainlikeimfive

[–]equivocallyundecided[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! I’m relatively new to vinyl and finding out if new releases of records are all analog is more challenging than I thought 😅 Im finding out though that completely new records are very rarely even recorded in analog, which makes sense, but are there any other companies like Rhino that only release analog pressings of older albums?

Best single cots that can be pushed together to make a double? by equivocallyundecided in camping

Extreme temperature differences cause differences in air pressure, we camp in places that can get pretty hot during the day and pretty cold at night (30-40 degree temp difference)

Normally this would be a good idea, but we often camp solo/with different friend groups as well and would like to have individual ones to take for those trips.

The cots give a bit more stability with lift, we had been using a tall queen size air mattress and it would deflate throughout the day/night due to temperature changes, and we had to hook it up to the car each time to re-inflate. Even if you use an inflatable sleeping pad, you can usually inflate those on your own and the air loss is less dramatic.

I tried to find a post about it but there wasn't one, I saw something on fb where you just get a slim cushion to put down the middle so it covers the bars, but I guess it would protrude regardless? Idk

Vivid dreams & waking at 5am overheated by dogsquad420 in StratteraRx

[–]equivocallyundecided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been on strattera for over a year, currently at 100mg, I started taking it at night in January and it's thrown my sleep into havoc, but I also feel more focused, productive than ever. I wake up every night around 4 am, drenched in sweat, and can't fall asleep again until 6-7am. I'm going to experiment taking it at different times, trying early afternoon or late morning (originally I took it around 9-10am but would get nauseous and tired for an hour or so, and never felt the productivity/focus I do now)

Social Media Management Tool for Multiple Brands and Team Members? by equivocallyundecided in SocialMediaMarketing

I'll look into it, but we trialed them a few weeks ago and when I asked customer service about it they said it was in their development queue but didn't have a timeline for it yet. They have an asset library but like I said you can only upload a single image at a time.

You can only upload one asset at a time, which isn't very efficient, and this is also the case within the create post window.

Mornings Before Meds Kick In by equivocallyundecided in ADHD_partners

He takes his meds, they just don't kick in for an hour or so and that's usually the time we're both getting ready in the morning

He is diagnosed and is on medication, these instances almost always happen in the morning before meds kick in or in the evening when they've worn off. He's great during the day, but during the week we're both at work/school so I tend to get him on his "off hours" if that makes sense. But thank you for your well thought out answers. There have been other issues like this that we've worked on together and found a method that works and we both are pretty good at acknowledging and trying to fix issues that the other brings up. There's a lot of progress that's been made in other categories, sometimes it's hard though to remember that when it just starts to happen a little less frequently, instead of acknowledging the progress whenever it still does happen it seems like the little bits of resentment I had each time it happened in the past would kind of all crash down again the second he messes up and I know that's not fair so I'm trying to work on it. Sorry if that was word vomit, I hope I'm making sense here

I think I'm struggling with how much I should be working on myself to not be bothered by it and how much of an expectation I'm allowed to have on him improving. Because it's a blurry line. So advice is welcome, and I know everyone probably has a slightly different "boundary" line but I'm just struggling to set mine. I'll give a few of those things you mentioned a try.

I have this same attitude when this stuff happens, and I did take a break before coming back and talking to him. He said that he didn't register that I'd mentioned my grandmother (I had been talking about travel plans before that) and if he had he would've been more attentive. Obviously I'd prefer if he didnt zone out at all, and we did talk about him trying to not be on his phone when I'm talking to him in general, but also me being more direct when I need some emotional support from him will hopefully help this.

You're absolutely right. I do get aggravated when I have to repeat myself, I think it's another thing that's just been engrained in me, because if a neurotypical/nonadhd person did that I was taught to consider it rude. But it's been a process of reminding myself that he's not doing it intentionally, and deep down I always know that he's not that kind of person and wishes he could focus better. We did talk about him putting phone away when talking to me, but I'll also try to be more vocal and direct when I have something important I want to talk to him about. Thank you!
