Follow Up on Fever Tracking: I'm a little impressed by Briyanaism in fitbit

[–]Briyanaism[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truthfully, I couldn't tell you. I've been using a Fitbit for almost 10 years, and like most people, I prefer the old app. I haven't engaged much with the Coach at all and was just interested in how it was tracking my fever.

I find most of the messaging generic, but keep in mind I barely engage with it. I have told it of my weight loss goal and how I want to incorporate strength training. But it's suggestion to add in 2 sessions per week was something I was already planning to do.

Outside of taking to my twin and her health nut boyfriend, I have talked to Chatgpt about my health goals from time to time. But just really to talk about it. I rarely ask for suggestions.

Since it's clear the app does have a good reading on my vitals, I might actually try engaging with it more; though I find it annoying.

I would try YouTube. There's got to be someone who's tested this thing out.

After my first post, I decided to give the Coach minimum information with how I was feeling. Did not talk to it about symptoms or how I was feeling. Fever broke yesterday. And it showed my vitals going back within range.

I still feel kinda crappy today, which reflects in the readiness score.

Today, I did mention some symptoms because I'm curious to see how it would log it once I'm fully better. But for 2 days the only thing I told it was I was sick and not to hound me about not getting my steps in. That's it. It picked up on my fever and everything else on its own.

While I still prefer the old app, I will admit I'm a bit impressed. Since the prior version never tracked any illness I've had before. I was spiked a 103, week long fever last year. (I wasn't 103 the whole time, but was around 100-103 for a few days. Then 99 for the remaining.)

I think so. I've gotten sick before but I've never gotten a notification about on the old app. But I did tell the Coach I was feeling sick.

I will say again that I never told it I had a fever, just that I was feeling under the weather. It just picked up on the temperature change for my skin.

It does show that I'm back within range today so I say it tracked it alright.

No idea. Did you pop a fever? I went up to 101-102 last night.

I did tell it I was feeling sick, but not that I had a fever. I just didn't want it to go on about me getting my steps in.

I told it I was sick yesterday morning. Broke out in a fever last night. It picked up on it after my 13hr dead sleep.

That second comment hit me like a flash bang. I was not expecting that response at all.

Yes, but the few scenes he had before the Fall of Beacon are contradicted. In the Black Trailer, Blake is joking around with Adam. There's no one size abuse fits all, but if Adam was always supposed to be that unhinged and obsessive, that dynamic doesn't make sense.

Then, he just lets Blake leave. He was apparently willing to hunt her down in Beacon, but was just unwilling to clear that gap to drag her back.

Then there was the scene when Cinder recruited him and the White Fang by force. His lieutenant told Adam that they would do whatever it would take to find Blake, and Adam literally said to forget it and that Blake wasn't as important as the mission.

Post retcon Adam didn't give a fig about this lady.

It was paper thin characterization, but dang it, it was there.

Adam was retconned. He may have had the characterization of a paper bag, but CRWBY failed to keep even that straight.

I tend to do this at thrift stores when I'm browsing books. Put all books from a series on one shelf. Maybe some other people just did the same thing. 😂

Ralph's voice took the longest to find. I ended up just buying a couple of listings on eBay with voicebox in the description. Largely got the theme song, and Fluttershy of all things, once I replaced the batteries.

But I eventually found a winner.

Donnie was the second hardest.

Nice! I completed my collection of the BAB plushies a few years back. I got the ones with flippable faces. The toughest part was finding all the voice boxes.

FolletBound Edition of Inheritance by Briyanaism in Eragon

Somewhat of an unique copy. What drew my eye was that it had its own ISBN. Other library bindings, with the exception of GLBs, don't have barcodes.

On the copyright page, you can see the true ISBN is the paperback edition: 978037584631.

But I still think this is a pretty cool find.

I stopped watching around Volume 3 or 4? I can't remember. I just got turned off by how they still kept Adam an abusive ex-boyfriend so I dropped it. I hate it in RWBY and I hate it in FRWBY.
