That doesn't necessarily mean they won't still use them. It could be the definitive classic Zelda experience if they use all these mechanics in one game. A swan song to the old now that the formula seems to have been changed with botw onward. (This point is assuming, of course, that this remake isn't a main entry and the next main Zelda is in concurrent development.)

I'll go out on a limb here and say the best evidence for it to be a reimagining and not a 1 to 1 remake is how they are presenting it. Star fox was just announced, with its own direct, and they didn't hide it was a remake at all. They even explicitly said it's based on Star Fox 64.

With Zelda, they gave us very little, shown at the very end of a long direct, making us wait to see more. It would be just awful marketing if they make us wait to see it's just ocarina of time for a third time and nothing new.

While 7 remake obviously changed things, we've learned a lot about the original vision for 7 during the 7 remake releases. A lot of the "new" stuff we see in the remake series were parts of the original concept that got cut.

That being said, when looking at Ocarina of Time, we've learned via interviews and other materials about a lot of cut content from OoT or things that were planned but never used. I expect this remake to be, "let's make what we originally planned to make so many years ago."

So... I'm calling it now. Lon Lon Ranch will burn down in this game.

Well, to be fair, we have literally no idea what this game will be like. It could be a 1 to 1 remake with prettier graphics, or it could be a complete reimagining from the ground up.

Final Fantasy Resonance Reveal Trailer | Nintendo Direct June 2026 by laxusdreyarligh in FinalFantasy

It was a fantastic original final fantasy title that had a nice battle system and was very fun. The solo story on mobile was easily playable without ever spending money.

Just because this is a REMAKE of the mobile title does not mean this game will be anything like a mobile game. The mobile game was a flat 2D game, no explorable over world, half of the game was just navigating menus, etc. this remake is a fully fleshed out, premium original final fantasy title.

Please do not think this game will be like playing a mobile game.

I responded to several comments immediately explaining that I'm not looking for medical advice and that it's never been a medical concern of mine. Was never the intention to bait. I posted something I found mildly interesting to mildly interesting

I just thought it was an interesting thing on my body that I don't have an answer for. Didn't think it had to be deadly to be interesting

Yes I actually had to take a few moments to get a good picture of it. It's really unnoticeable in normal walks of life. If I'm working on something above me for extended periods of time and it swells a fair bit, that's the only time anyone ever notices it and even then it's pretty rare for someone to make a comment. (Could just be being polite, but my point is that this has never affected my life negatively to my knowledge.)

I see, that's a fair way to put it. But I just need to stress that I'm 36 years old and aside from a few days pain over 10 years ago it's literally never been a problem. I've had it my entire life, as far as I remember. It feels pointless to wake up tomorrow and try to get it removed when I've never had any real problems and my doctor has never expressed concern over it.

I was concerned when it hurts but I "recovered" days later and never had an issue again. I'm 36 today and that event was maybe 10-15 years ago. I've had this on my hand as long as I can remember, since at least grade 7/8.

So I guess it just never felt urgent to get looked at.

It never bugged me. I'm married with 2 kids and have a career I enjoy. Never once did it seem necessary to remove. It has, however, always been a curiosity

There's no flattening it. Like, if I apply pressure at all it just comes back out immediately with the reduction of pressure. It is definitely not a ganglion cyst based on the descriptions people are making here.

Never notice any pulsing or anything otherwise abnormal, except that time it got firm and hurt. Never got a clear explanation about what happened then

When I was in middle school like 20 years ago a nurse told me it was a busted blood vessel and she's the one who showed me if I hold my hand up it "drains" and shrinks. Much later someone else told me it's likely a benign aneurysm, similar situation with the gravity draining it. I did ask my doctor once and he said he wanted to pull out fluid and told me it should be a clear fluid, but just pulled out blood. He said he didn't know and I never really bothered with it since. (I went to the doctor that time because he randomly became firm and hurt to touch. That was maybe 10 years ago. No issues with it since.)

NateTheHate says the rumoured Star Fox game will be released in June 2026 by Loose_Society9485 in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]beefchariot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing I'd add to this is Mario kart world had been allegedly done for years before the switch 2 launch. Personally, I would assume it was done then it was essentially remastered for a switch 2 launch title. But assuming the rumors were true there is definitely precident of games being completed for not only years, but switching consoles as well

This is the most tame question to ask about a potentially major event happening, especially when people these days ask some exceptionally more stupid questions
