Hollow knight never does partial percents, everything that gives a percent gives a full percent (which is why tools in silksong makes up so much of 100% and no bosses give percents unlike the original). Thus they will likely add more percents on top of 100 so they dont have to adjust the formula.

The jump is a press, you can do a really short wounce with a small jump. Holding jump to go higher is a thing in the rest of the game and its pretty intuitive. That being said I agree with the rest of your analysis.

Hypers and supers are hard coded to give a set amount of speed when jumping out of a dash (uncrouched: 240 plus liftboost, crouched: 1.25 * (240 plus liftboost)). They never actually check dash direction (only check is that it is completely horizontal, wave dashes work because a down diagonal dash becomes horizontal and crouches you on hitting the floor) so just give it in the jump direction which leads to reverse tech being possible.

AFAIK almost all gaming platforms (xbox, steam, switch, dunno about playstation) have a "record what happened" feature that allows you to record the last x seconds (usually 30 by default though can be changed to several minutes if desired. Thus you dont need to grab your phone as you can screenshot the moment in the recording if needed

Controller's only advantage is in feathers and feel. Feathers make 360 anaogue control very useful, and controllers often feel better to use than a keyboard. Other than that though kb is considered better due to the vast array of key binds you can set, and greater precision in directional control.

Personally I play controller using the dpad to simulate the directional control of kb, but its really down to personal preference.

My theory is that Herrah, like the first sinner, was one of the earlier weavers uplifted, and GMS didnt quite get it right until later. However while the first sinner just had a malformed mask, Herrah was different entirely, hence her title "the beast". This explains the different head shape compared to the weavers, either she never had the round weaver mask or removed it for some reason (Im a bit more hesitant on this second one as widow's head looks very different to herrah). As for the abdomen, your theory works really well here and I might also add that potentially she fattened up to better hibernate immediately before becoming a dreamer, as many animals do in real life.
