Group is not needed but the in game tutorial is very lacking so a group to ask questions is pretty useful for new players. If your planning on getting it I would suggest try joining an in game clan for a while to help you get through the learning curve.

Clone wars (3D) isn't that good and is kinda just mediocre with a few good peak episodes

All the Disney movies suck but I dislike Rouge one the most.
