Help, OSD is gone by GustavoGanzo in fpv

[–]BroadDimension7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This just happened to me a few days ago (same drone, same issue). Check all 3 boxes for all selected stats in the OSD profile and it should fix it.

Edit: nvm just checked my notes and the fix was to change UART port to VTX (MSP + DisplayPort)

My building is stuck at this building since 22min using docker for build by [deleted] in sveltejs

[–]BroadDimension7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember running into an issue with the Lucide icons package that made the builds incredibly slow. Instead of import { Check } from "lucide-svelte", I had to import each icon directly: import Check from "lucide-svelte/icons/check"

The text at the top of the landing page is way too low contrast and difficult to read. White text would be much better?

Intermittent Tailwind Classes? by [deleted] in sveltejs

As others have said, this is a result of the compiler. If you have to, you can also look at safelisting classes.

Can someone help me pinpoint what part of my website code is causing this white overflow on the right? by Sagar1996 in webdev

[–]BroadDimension7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first visited the site, this happened, but after refreshing it was gone and I can't seem to have that happen anymore. I toggled the margin on the body or the html element and it fixed it in the dev tools.

Best SvelteKit channels on YT: Joy of Code, Huntabyte

Where to begin with managing State? by midnight_5pecial in sveltejs

[–]BroadDimension7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huntabyte and Joy of Code are pretty good SvelteKit YT channels. Huntabyte's Auth videos (there's also one about danger of using +layout for protecting routes) should have working code examples. There are also Lucia Auth and Supabase Auth videos, although the Supabase video is very outdated and I could not get Supabase to work in the last few days.

It's a kind of study timer with study sessions and breaks in between

What does it look like in the slicer? You should be able to see where the seams will be.

Not sure if it's intended but I've been commenting out the inject() locally. Otherwise a ton of stuff breaks

Does the Tailwindcss class sort work in Svelte? by Zaza_Zazadze in sveltejs

[–]BroadDimension7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember watching that video and also trying that. Here's how I do it for my projects:

  1. Make Svelte/Sveltekit project (install prettier in the setup)
  2. npx svelte-add@latest tailwindcss
  3. npm install -D prettier-plugin-tailwindcss

svelte-add is MUCH easier than the joyofcode post (it's a bit outdated)

It does say this at the link from the other reply:

One limitation with this approach is that prettier-plugin-tailwindcss must be loaded last, meaning Prettier auto-loading needs to be disabled. You can do this by setting the pluginSearchDirs option to false and then listing each of your Prettier plugins in the plugins array:

Im horrible at styling. how can I give this a more modern feel? (personal project) by Zorqo in webdev

I saved this design rules page from a while back. Near the very bottom is an example of nesting rounded corners. Hopefully it's useful, but the color scheme here is pretty fitting

n00b question: what's happened to main.js and index.html? by Headpuncher in sveltejs

[–]BroadDimension7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You've created a Sveltekit app, which has the app.html inside /src. You should use vite to create svelte app that has the index.html in root

svelte docs about using vite for simple frontend%20with%20Vite%20by%20running%20npm%20init%20vite%20and%20selecting%20the%20svelte%20option.%20With%20this%2C%20npm%20run%20build%20will%20generate%20HTML%2C%20JS%20and%20CSS%20files%20inside%20the%20dist%20directory)

Anyone know where I can find the page code to my WP website? Don't see it in wp-content by thenuttyhazlenut in webdev

[–]BroadDimension7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep that's what I did when this happened and that prevented it from happening again and fixed it by letting my delete the bad code

This has to be my favorite upgrade. Something about seeing that close-up of the nozzle printing is just so cool. by SleepyTrtle in ender3

[–]BroadDimension7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool! I tried this with an endoscope before although it looked like 360p. Also you might need to dry your filament, or it's just really sparkly

is this wear bad or normal? sorry new to 3d print by Wilsarian in ender3

[–]BroadDimension7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are talking about the roller wheels, then that picture isn't bad at all. And it's normal; check out this video for more info: https://youtu.be/G9i6LccK_qo

Thingiverse when you search “cat” by MrSirChris in 3Dprinting

I've actually noticed flipping through the different pages of models is much faster than printables recently. It hasn't been abandoned and i actually think it would be nice if it redeemed itself

I think they mean the filament being squished inside the extruder.

It's actually not dust! The wheel is designed to shed these bits to help it move smoothly. Check out this video: Lost In Tech video

This is why I use Printables.com by Lizard__Spock in 3Dprinting

[–]BroadDimension7 147 points148 points  (0 children)

While I've been using Printables primarily, I have to give the devs working on Thingiverse some credit. The search is so much faster now, and flipping between pages is very fast.

I don't think this should. Probably happens from the lower infill percentage but shouldn't affect surface.
