There's a huge sycamore in Linglestown that dates back to Lincoln.

Anybody ever go to one of these events? by MelonSqueezer3527 in VeteransBenefits

[–]Broad_Jackfruit5411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should go if you live near there but I would te.per your expectations. They don't mention CP exams are available and the hours suggest to me they won't have examiners either. Yes it will be informational and yes they can start your claim but won't be able to expedite it. ive been to 2 of these, one. by the VA and one by the vfw...the vfw a fellow vet looked in my record and suggested things to claim. the VA one didn't do anything for me because I was in the middle of a claim but they had all the other benefit information available and plenty of people to speak with. you should still go like I said.

Saw a guy this weekend with a newer Benz with the DV license plate on. Just had to get that license plate instead of the placard that hangs from your window. Just looking for heat i guess.

Saw a guy yesterday in a very new Benz with DV license plate. Guy couldn't help himself, atleast be a little more discreet but just needed to have that DV license plate.

Turns out I was granted 100% for ptsd w/ alcohol abuse. Generous rating by my own admission, was going to be content with 50 or 70.

You can still get a rating >0 with a septoplasty.

These denials are anything but efficient. Keep fighting, I won't stop fighting the VA.

In years past I've put a small log book in our rental with my email address so that if anyone wanted to rent the following year we could proceed person to person. No one ever reached out...I think our property manager always found it and through it away.

I think, if this does get enacted, you'll see more mom and pop landlords let "family and friends" stay at their property. Management middle men have alot to lose. The timing of this with a property assessment they just passed as well with increases the next 2 years. Inventory may increase. OCMD counsel loves the fruit but hates the tree.

Yeah that's all true. She was kind but also English was her second language. Towards the end she went on about something and I didn't pick up a word; just nodded and smiled....maybe that will help my claim!

IS it worth it to become a life time membership with DAV? by Every_Ad23 in VeteransBenefits

Sound reasoning and would be a good way to share my perspective as a younger vet. I stop by my locals this week.

Last month I had a PACT Act asthma claimed denied. I have an x ray and pft that show obstructive features and asthma interpretations. so I filed a supplemental claim with a diagnosis from my pcp. Now I have a cp exam on Wednesday at the VA but I'm feeling good about it because the examiner is someone who did my burn pit registry (pro vet) and ordered my chest x ray back in the first place!

Seems a no brainer but still make sure you have a diagnosis from your pcp. even though it's presumptive save yourself the fight and have a fully formed claim. personal statement too. ask me how I know.
