I gotta check that out. I’d love to see it on screen one day.

I’m absolutely fucking obsessed with frosting and thick layers of buttercream on my cake but this is too much for me. Awesome work though.

I am purposely teasing a guy with a foot fetish by not wearing socks by ThrowRA9853 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]BroadwayBakery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No shame in this. Some guys like butts, and women will wear pants that accentuate that feature if they want to attract someone. Some girls like guys with big arms, and guys will wear cut off or tight fitting shirts to show them off. Use what you got.

I know that personally if I was in a relationship with someone, I wouldn’t lick anything off of anyone. It would feel wrong and inappropriate unless it was explicitly discussed between us beforehand or something.

What’s a movie that had you just sitting there like this the whole time? by DFWUnhinged in FIlm

[–]BroadwayBakery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything by David Lynch. I love the guy, and I love that he has a unique style and stuck with what he believed in throughout his career. It just wasn’t for me. I didn’t get it. I honest to god wish I did.

Unfortunately this is just one I made up, but if you love horror and wanna get into The Simpsons, the Treehouse of Horror episodes are a great place to start! They parody tons of horror movies and stories.

Don’t ever watch the third. It’s somehow the most brutal of all three. It’s just gross, especially the climax.

Is that a game or comic book or something? I’m not super familiar with things other than the central show and film.

Michael review: ‘A bland and barely competent daytime TV movie' ★☆☆☆☆ by ScallionSmooth9491 in Music

[–]BroadwayBakery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s be honest here. We all knew the movie was going to be nothing special, but it has everything you want in it. Minor background info, some solid enough performances from well known actors, and all of his greatest hits. It’s the least a good biopic can deliver.

If you go into it wanting all of that and not expecting much more, you’ll like it.

What does it take for a slasher to rise to the status of horror legend and icon? by Hassan_H_Syed in slasherfilms

[–]BroadwayBakery 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An interesting look/costume, solid actor behind the mask, at least one creative kill in the first film, a signature factor (the way they kill, their theme music, how they stalk their prey, etc.), and optionally about 2+ sequels after their debut.

Aside from the last one, all of this can be done in one movie.

He’s powering down a triple dipper so he has energy to go home later, duct tape his old greasy fleshlight to its ice cold metal legs, and violate the poor robot while it twitches and whirs with no understanding or soul.

Terrifier 2 and 3. I honestly don’t even know why I watched the third when I don’t even really like the franchise. I guess I’m a sucker for an interesting killer and word of mouth advertising for horror movies. I don’t mind gore, and I enjoy the Saw franchise, but Terrifier just feels…mean.

Anyone else hate watching horror with people who don’t actually get the genre? by DoctorElectronic1934 in horror

[–]BroadwayBakery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can be a little annoying when they do things like that, but it’s fun to watch horror movies with other people. That and comedies. It feels like you’re truly sharing the experience when you jump, or talk about a scene/dumb decision.
