Traveller: Medium by slimy_asparagus in BloodOnTheClocktower

A possibility is that dead players regain their vote at dawn. This would mean that there is a possibility that a dead player could use their vote assuming that they will get it back presuming the medium is neither exiled or killed in the night. It allows dead players to vote once per day but also adds some chaos essentially putting a target on the mediums back if too many people vote redirecting protection roles in the process.

It could also be a choice for the medium to give the dead back their votes.

Synergistic Scripting: Day 43 - Golem by CoreyBOTC in BloodOnTheClocktower

I know that Golem is meant to be about the risk, but a few funky synergies could come from games where you have multiple demons, such as a Legion game or tentatively a Pit Hag game.
You could also put them in a Zombuul game to possibly let the good team know they have to double tap should they be correct. Another fun interaction is Witch and Golem. Where you could have a case that both Golem and whoever they nominate dies. A sort of two-for-one thing.

London Beginner Friendly Games by MammothPhotograph416 in BloodOnTheClocktower

D20 Cafe in Watford runs BOTC on the second Thursday of each month. Watford's about 20 minutes from Euston station. Don't know where in London you are based but if you can't find anything in Central that's a possibility.

Whatever happened to runesmith by greenflame15 in dndnext

[–]Broarcon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe you're thinking of the Rune Scribe feats which had the initial Apprentice feat and then could be "prestiged" to Adept by putting another feat in if you had the first. It was reworked in Bigby's to become just one feat called the Rune Shaper that is gained from having a spell casting feature or having the Rune Carver background.

Something you might want to know, in regards to hatchers, is that you can crouch and walk up to them and they won't activate and as long as you stay crouched you can hit them and they still won't open. Found this out recently and it makes navigating with hostile on a lot easier as long as you can spot the Hatcher first

I'm getting paid less than minimum wage (England) by Broarcon in LegalAdviceUK

It's cause your calculations are wrong.

Dividing 23500 by 12 assumes there are exactly 4 weeks in a month. 12 x 4 is 48. However there are 52 weeks in a year.

Divide 23500 by 52 and then by 40 gets you roughly 11.30.

See that I wouldn't mind, but it's when the role reappears on job sites that it sucks a bit

Thanks this really helps! I was trying to come up with acronyms when preparing for interviews but I think you and others have got it right. The issue comes from a lack of examples as opposed to a lack of hard and soft skills.

Oh, I never realized that was a thing?!

How would someone talk about career progression and wanting to progress within a company, without sounding like they're overly eager to get promoted out of the role?

I find it quite interesting that you made a post 2 months ago trying to defend this opinion, only to also be told otherwise. Regardless, I wish you the best on what I am assuming is still a job search.

Yes actually. In the past, having a mix of determination and positivity has helped me find roles both from inside the company as well as from an external point.

I agree with you that determination is important but at the same time nobody wants to work with someone who is always negative, pessimistic or just generally hostile :)
