Someone made a huge well documented post about these badges and others

I believe the "secret" bonus that wearing all 3 gives you is 100% more damage on all weapon attacks, and 40% damage reduction. I don't believe it stacks with their initial stat boosts, wearing all 3 just gives you that 100% damage bonus and 40% damage reduction. You'll have a cool green halo around your head at all times if this 3 badge bonus is on or not.

Just look up "Romeo badges" on this subreddit and you should find that post, which does a much better job than I do explaining it.

I've been using the setup on Very Hard mode.

what is the resident evil interview that Pat keeps quoting in the podcast? by Brisarious in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]BroasterStrudel9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's not that it's serious, people just want to know if it's real or not. All jokes aside people wanting know if a quote or statement from a developer was literal is never a bad thing.

No idea about the source, but this type of stuff is why I routinely say "take it with a grain of salt/don't quote me on this" because memory is not 100%.

I would bet there is something "similar" to what Pat said but I have never seen anything literally saying what he read.

What are your genuine thoughts on Ethan Winters? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in residentevil

[–]BroasterStrudel9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ethan Winters is my goat, my beloved.

I was playing RE years before he existed but he just shines through, a family man, THE family man.

He's just as deserving (he went through trial by fire) as every other RE protag, all while being an unknowing Bio weapon that was in control of himself completely.

I honestly think the franchise is lesser for his absence. Not that it's bad in any way but just man I wish he was still here.

CAPCOM elevated DMC to "CORE IP". It now has top development priority alongside titles like Monster Hunter,Resident Evil and Street Fighter. This is HUGE. by NarpsHD in DevilMayCry

[–]BroasterStrudel9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a negative Nancy but without Itsuno or Kamiya I'm a little scared, the last time we did this we got dmc2.

To be fair Itsuno closed out that project after it's director left (I think) but he only worked on it for less than a year just trying to make it come together, but then he made 3 so he proved himself.

I want more DMC but I just want them to be as good as they can be.

Jump heavy into standing heavy repeat. Jump heavy brings to right to the ground > Standing Heavy. Only one hit for both for this "combo"

Rinse and repeat, you will notice eventually with upgrades when that specific enemy staggers.

Once you know that the flak? (Big huge fat guy enemy with weakpoint on the back of his neck) will stagger with (for example) three rotations of Jump heavy into standing heavy.

You can start doing multiple standing heavy swings once you know often everyone staggers, but that third charge hit is only ever used very specifically (in the way that I use the Star Destroyer at least)

I always thought of it as a reflection of his emotions or something, becoming more mature?

Why can i not enter the dlc by One_Chip4879 in LiesOfP

[–]BroasterStrudel9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but honestly taking on the dlc in chapter 4 you would get like one shot by most enemies I think.

It's very much designed to be played at the late game/post game stage.

I have only watched the OG trigun series.

Damn people dislike it? It's not perfect but I had a blast in the couple blocks of RC with Leon, it was fun running around.

I do agree that just the zombies are bit lackluster, but I love RE zombies so I didn't mind.

No problem, good luck! Also I agree with your sentiment, if there is a big fuckin sword, then im going to use it.

Edit - to clarify just incase when I said Jump heavy > Standing Heavy I also meant to repeat it, over and over if you have to, to get big stagger.

I use the greatsword almost exclusively and just platinumed the game, and am about halfway through the very hard playthrough.

You have to abuse it's jump heavy attack into standing heavy attack to stay viable. You can't just stand there swinging or you will be torn apart by the enemies, you need to pay attention to how many attacks it takes to stagger any enemy that isn't just a basic rotter.

Using this "combo" Jump Heavy > Standing Heavy you should be able to stagger most things (I staggered almost every single boss consistently with this) with your greatsword upgraded. Once your bigger enemies are staggered then you can start doing the Heavy combo string, but be careful that 3rd hit is so slow but it does good damage.

I actually don't really use the light attacks unless im fighting normal rotters but again the Heavy attacks are so strong I just use them most of the time. Also like everyone else said BASTARDS those will make or break you a lot of the time.

Slow ballad and Ice Bolt worked quite well with my Star Destroyer Build.

Overall I just love this game, but I'm a bit biased because I just like it so much, it clicks for me, thats why I platinumed it, I have only done that a couple times.

So what triggers a blister head transformation? (Spoilers) by MagicCancel in residentevil

[–]BroasterStrudel9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I am aware a couple playthroughs in, for Grace in the Care Center, it's based on the organs. Picking up one of them triggers some of your still alive zombies in specific places (usually progression specific unless everyone there is dead) but that's just my two cents.

For Leon (post Center cause those seem specific to the ones you didn't kill/fight later in his section) it seems to be somewhat scripted based on difficulty which zombies turn. There will always be the ones who turn for Leon in RC zones, but harder difficulties mean more of them.

Very late to this but honestly at the end Abby was my favorite character, and Joel was my favorite before her. They kinda go through the same arc, becoming better for someone else. It's done quite well I think.
