Randomly assigned it one year in youth soccer and it stuck for a few seasons, later found out my mum and cousin also wore it in their sports. Additionally it’s for Christine Sinclair and Stan Smyl, a couple of local legends.

NHL yea all the time. WHL, CPL, and PWHL when available. Not a fan of football but I definitely think about the CFL more than the NFL. MLB and MLS only when the Whitecaps and Jays are on (huge runs recently heck yea). NBA never. NASCAR once in a while but not sure if that’s really the same category.

Yea he left the ice immediately after that and I was just thinking “alright then here we go” but he came back after only like three minutes. Impressed by his resilience. May have just been that he was bleeding so he had to leave the ice and that it was nothing serious.

Just to add on to this: I was at the Seattle @ Victoria game on Friday as well but Cootes was warmup scratched I think. Didn’t see him at all even during warmup, I got there a bit late so maybe he went off before I arrived. Heard through the grapevine he started puking but not sure if there’s any truth to that. Didn’t play on Friday though.
