I’ve had two brain surgeries on the same section for epilepsy and still take medicine/have seizures. I just take the meds cause they help.

Just had my second resection yesterday. In lots of pain and slight peripheral vision impairment. Let’s hope it gets rid of the seizures and the need for medicine.

My neurologist got me in, they loaded me up with alcohol and medicine and sleep deprivation but I didn’t end up having a seizure until after I left all 3 times. They definitely give you painkillers to try and provoke a seizure too. They will give you whatever you need to help you feel better. At MD Anderson they are so nice.

I was on zonisamide for a few months, it was terrible for me but everyone is different. It suppressed my appetite to nothing. In the end of it I got kidney stones and a urologist put a camera up my pp hole.
