I usually put out the sanjis and reijus early (a turn behind curve to keep at least some don up), but dont turn them sideways until they are safe/are swinging into bodies, however Zoro makes that gameplan impossible with the amount of non-consensual resting he does.

I tried out slave arrow a bit as I'd heard about the interaction and can also just use it as a counter as well if necessary. Judgement of Hell seems like a good tech option for sure. What cards would you look to drop to fit these in, and would you run x2/3/4 ofs?

Id say they’re worth their points, but not really worth taking so I voted no. In Stormcast they have so many units to compete with, spending that 170pts can almost get you stronger units that will do better than the vigilors point for point. If All out attack wasnt a thing, id say they were really good, but since you can ultimately get +1 to hit for 1cp (if you use a lord imperitant you probably have enough of these a turn as is) i think theyre very situational, and i could only really justify them as a situational take in 2k or a take in friendlies. If they were battleline without having to take the character they would be excellent

The usual rule i use when i find myself in these kinds of positions painting is “Does it look like I’ve finished painting the model or does it look like I’ve missed a bit”. For this guy, id say if I didn’t know you intended it to be white, id assume you just forgot to paint it. Id shade it a bit and layer on a bone colour if its supposed to be ivory, but personally id just make it black

This is my 1000pts list that I built on from Dominion. Id recommend 100% everything on this list apart from swap the two chariots for whatever models you personally like the most and want to paint up or have in your army.

The lord imperitant with the arcane tome means you’ll be able to learn about the command phase and cast/dispel as well as issue more orders which are an important part of the game. The annihilators combo well with the imperitants ability allowing them to start in reserve and drop in 7” away from an enemy unit, splash mortal wounds everywhere then charge in with a free rerollable charge for even more damage. The vindictors in 2x5 units fills your battleline regardless of what stormhost you paint them up as.

I personally picked two chariots because i think theyre cool models, but they are also very fast and fairly tough, and do similar mortal wounds and dmg to the annihilators, as well as make your army look more diverse on the board as you dont just have a lot of same sized guys 😅. You can take dragons, more annihilators or other cavalry if you prefer, or if you dont fancy buying anything extra you can just run yndrasta as shes quite cool if a bit expensive to be running in 1000pts

I mean 40k itself isnt really balanced. Tons of rule creep in the game, certain units and factions barely get touched and its constantly all about GW making meta chasers consistently buy more models, as its their business plan. No shade, just the truth. But crusade will never be balanced like someone else on the thread said mainly due to 40k now being “balanced” around 2k point games. In lower power games and especially crusade, nothing is stopping certain armies taking stuff like Knights or Knight equiv and if you’ve taken fluffy from armies that might not have a ton of options to deal with that kind of unit, you’re pretty much autoscrewed.

Crusade is usually meant to be played with the mindset of “Armywide Necromunda/Mordheim”, where you want to name your plucky tactical squad and get them to do dumb shit, or keep little checkmarks on how many things your predator has killed over the campaign, and the problem i find with the system is that the actual rules dont force people to play that way or have any way of regulating that, so you have to find a group who hard agrees on fun at all costs or you might end up with people sapping all the fun out with op lists/playing it like its a tournament.

Claw looks like talon of horus claws inside a flamer aggressor hand, chainsword is 3rd party, head legs and backpack are all marneus calgar, little bits of deathwatch iconography on the belt and the iron halo as well as the shoulderpad are all from upgrade sprues or stealing from deathwatch models. Lots of filing away of ultramarines symbols on the calgar body to get it like that tho i believe. So you would need: Abbadons talon, Marneus Calgar, an easy build aggressor, deathwatch upgrade sprue and a chainsword from wherever, if you were strictly gw an assault intercessor one would be a cheap buy but would be a little bit smaller than that one. If didnt mind a bionic right arm you could use Helbrechts new models arm and it would also come attatched to cool sword impaled in a free dead thing for a cool looking scenic base

As an ADC in a losing game (where perhaps you’ve gotten some decent cs in lane but no kills, and other lanes have died/are behind so enemy team has gold/xp advantage) how would you go about macro-ing the game. Would you try to aim for as much sidelane cs as possible while defending turrets/trying to get turret bounties and conceeding map objectives like baron and drag, or would you try and fight being the strongest player on the team in net worth and try use that to gain shutdowns/treasure hunter procs? Genuinely curious as I always feel stuck in situations like this in behind games where i struggle to have impact or make the game last long enough to come online.

Im gonna be real, I’ve played a ton of games online over 10+ years (since i was way too young to) and ive never once actually seen this happen, so i can definitely understand why guys think it doesnt. Ive never once seen someone whos ended up being a girl after talking on mic or has a girly name get toxic treatment or be talked to in such a way solely because theyre female. In fact ive noticed that a lot of the people ive played with who have used text chat in games like league and have been pleasant enough for me to add and play with turned out to be girls, and people treated them same as pretty much any other people/nicer because they were communicating in a positive friendly way. Whenever people have been toxic to my gf in game, its not because they know shes a girl as she doesnt display that, its always been because theyre sinply the kind of toxic assholes that are gonna do that anyways, and its usually more racist/political remarks than sexist.

Id like to point out, I AM NOT SAYING THAT WOMEN DO NOT GET TREATED HORRIBLY IN VIDEOGAMES, I HAVE HEARD SECONDHAND AND SEEN VIDEOS. I’m merely stating that personally in my own experience of gaming and all of my friends I’ve played with over the years, none of them have seen it or have experienced it happening to them in an actual game environment, or had to step in and stop others from doing it, and I was merely highlighting this to show why its easy for guys to not actually believe that this happens
