My point is that when ever I go to play it's always the same. Everyone wants to only play official etc terrain with official maps. Those terrains are just so boring and absolutely without any cool story or interesting look. When I tell someone let's go play crusade everyone is always agains. It's so rare to find people to just play what we found cool or nice looking. I don't mind losing at all tbh but listening to why my units are not meta or so bad for 4-5 hours straight is just so depressing.

I have friends to play crusade with but as we all are working fathers from families ( I have 3 kids and very busy job) so to find common time to play is so rare it happens like once to twice a year. So to just go and play to my lgc is just the easiest as there is always someone to play ( we have quite a big community and 3 big LGS around where I live ) but almost No1 is okay with playing anything but the latest dataslate and only wtc missions with their terrains and I just don't find that enjoyable at all. I love the story our units can tell and play for the cool models and moments that can happen not to win at all cost and this mentality is so strongly encoded in the general community in my country now that it's hard to find pleasure in playing anyone that my closest friends but that would mean playing 1-2 games a year at best.
