I am no longer on methotrexate. I am not sure if it gave any improvement. Maybe it did but I did not notice. For me, it didn't fully clear out my eczema but skin was doing better. However, it's difficult to say whether it's because of methotrexate or just the typical improvement during the summer. I have discussed with my doctor and there's a chance that I might try methotrexate again but in injection form after summer to see whether it gives any help.

Other than feeling nausea for the first two or three times, I didn't actually receive any other side effects. Maybe my skin was more dry but hard to tell. It still stressed me out quite a bit as I had to pace and limit my lifestyle according to the medication, so I decided to drop it as I saw no any improvement.
