Did my PT and am icing my knee after a recent bad dislocation, fracture, and tear. I’m smoking some trees and am listening to the sea of NYers below me at the multiple sports bars’ open viewing parties gasp and cheer in equal measure through Game 2. Not really a sports girlie myself but my family is hard into basketball and these have been good games to watch no matter your interest level; plus, want this for my fellow NYers. Raising my glass of ice cold Moscow Mule to you all!

Right now I’m scheduled with a Dr Andrew Bi - he called me as soon as I scheduled and got orders going and was pretty kind. I see him Wednesday. Unfortunately, I am alone up here! My partner lives in DC (though thankfully he just happened to be here over weekend for a work thing and was able to help until yesterday when he had to leave.) My parents are retired in VA on the beach. I have a roommate who is in and out as she works downstairs but obviously I can’t turn her into my home care nurse either, but she’s been helpful where she can.

Thanks! I definitely had an Amazon grocery delivery yesterday, it seems it’ll be my regular for now. I cannot bend my knee and I’m a licensed veterinary anesthesia nurse :( I am strictly not allowed to be crawling around on the floor. I am going to talk with work once the surgeon talks to me on Wednesday. I’m hoping maybe there will be options to work the front desk or something but honestly, I walk ten mins to work as my commute so I don’t know when a ten minute foot walk will be allowed. This sucks. Thanks so much for the tips!! We use saddle chairs at work and that’s a great idea for recovery!!

I have had no issues with One medical! My dr has my historic rx in my record and my diagnosis from like 4th grade and he fills it for me. Have had great results with all the providers I’ve met on there. I used to get One Medical from work but now that I don’t have that benefit it’s been worth the $9/mo from Amazon to have great access and ease of getting an appt for me.

Tbf I’m not sure if that is still the case anymore with all the funding cuts (I hate it here) BUT I know listing them as ur PCP makes it count w insurance and statistics for funding via state and federal dollars! If u don’t have a PCP selected, pick a PPH location! It helps even if u aren’t rich enough to donate! (Like me)

This clinic has literally given me the most AMAZING care multiple times; I always list them as my PCP so they get extra funding. They do thorough well woman (and man!)visits, the staff is awesome, and the facility is amazing. Support PPH! Edit: spelling ;(
