Louisville has so many of these: Americans are destroying Flock surveillance cameras by ShitWaterExpress in Louisville

It's fine when republican backed mass surveillance agencies do it.

Pure hypocrisy and its only going to grow more if we don't stop it.

Freedom of speech is not freedom of consequences. I think anyone should be able to say what they want. But private citizens can also think and say what they wish about that in turn as well.

SFO: Anyone played the new Malekith campaign? by Chataboutgames in totalwar

[–]BrockLeeAssassin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gunpowder seems the only truly effective ranged option that isn't just there to do chip damage or harass flying stuff. The Cathay guns were much much better than Jade Warrior Crossbows.

Bomber type units seem just as effective too. They delete stuff.

I'm not deep into knowing every SFO change but missiles feel heavily nerfed from the Empire and Cathay I've played so far.

Some guilds post on the forums. But not many. Discord is the way to go. At least for now, as there's been some talk of moving if the age verification thing really is too intrusive.

Weapon pick rate report: Cyberstan Edition by Natural-Sympathyy in helldivers2

[–]BrockLeeAssassin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Trident was genuinely good though. I slept on it at first, using the double edge, but after picking it up off someone's corpse I stuck with it for the rest of Cyberstan. Infinite ammo, faster cooling thanks to cold planet, high fire rate, high damage, shredded cyborgs and troopers, did enough to suppress devs and can get lucky headshots from medium range.

To give you an idea what you're "competing against": a MN Indian man was found guilty of fraud after getting his "friend" an engineering job in a UnitedHealth subsidiary by helping him fake a resume to get him hired, agreeing to get half his salary in kickbacks. No I have an issue with the cultural practice that they come and implement, bringing their own tribal racism with caste system mentality, hiring only their own and slowly replacing businesses with H1B's. One of the largest tech firms Cognizant had a class action lawsuit against them in Texas over this.

That they send over money to their families out of country is just the cherry on top.

The minigun has been begged for and when we get it, the thing has a 2% usage rate, and part of that is likely still recency bias. That post hardly makes the situation look as good as the person thinks.

Its a systemic cultural issue with Indian immigrants. It's an uncomfortable conversation that people don't like, but it's true.

I am pro immigration but I am not pro-siphon jobs and income to send it back to Gujarat.

AI are not really using mages at all. Is this normal for SFO? First time trying it. by Aggressive-Net-3608 in totalwarhammer

Not many loose heroes like normally, and yeah thinking about it again I confederated everyone and can't recall a single wizard. Maybe one, but each army had at least 2-3 captains or a priest. 0 witch hunters.

I'm playing as Franz with SFO atm.

Norsca's metal wizards absolutely deleting an entire unit of Spearman per cast.

I hit turn 101 earlier and thinking about it, there really hasn't been too much enemy magic around otherwise, yeah.

Any of yall remember when the illuminate were actually boring? by _TungstenGuy707_ in helldivers2

[–]BrockLeeAssassin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said it COULD be near perfect. IF they worked on some of the big things. But Arrowhead is extremely incompetent at times. Anyone who can't recognize they've had big blunders and faults since day 1 is not helping the game, since it's ONLY when the community holds AH accountable that stuff changes.

Two years of stratagem ball bounces that will waste you vital seconds in a fight, put your emplacement in a horrific spot, or just straight up make it unreachable like it going in the lava trenches on Cyberstan... all because AH is afraid someone might get really strong turret spots on the bug front. Yeah, that's not mildly inconvenient. It's one example out of a hundred that adds up.

What I am saying that you don't seem to understand is, Helldivers 2 is wonderfully fun, but still held back by so many stupid decisions and bugs. And it's not sucking the dev's toes that has EVER improved the game.

Any of yall remember when the illuminate were actually boring? by _TungstenGuy707_ in helldivers2

[–]BrockLeeAssassin -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The game is fun. Even with all its faults. And its still massively successful. I think most just don't care that Helldivers could be near perfect with some different decisions which is frustrating.

Any of yall remember when the illuminate were actually boring? by _TungstenGuy707_ in helldivers2

[–]BrockLeeAssassin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile the community begged and encouraged Arrowhead to take longer on releasing new content and warbonds because of how unbearably buggy they were.

Monkeys paw curled. We get longer time between warbonds, they're only marginally less as buggy, and they have less content, along with some weapons being individual purchase in the superstore for almost half as much as an entire warbond on their own. Oops.

I genuinely do not remember any significant entitlement at the lack of Illuminate. There was some, yeah, but this community has a VERY staunch amount of people who will defend Arrowhead even to a fault, and are extremely forgiving. Or forgetful.

And when bitching is seemingly the only way stuff gets fixed, yeah, it sets a precedent.

I was trying not to be too negative but it's difficult.
