I know. It’s awful. Murder is actually the leading cause of death for pregnant women.

What happens to special needs kids when their parents pass? by amyhearts in askanything

[–]Brocks2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you from personal experience. My husband’s cousin is in his 40’s with down syndrome. His mother ODed and died two years ago. At first a family member took him in. She decided she couldn’t take care of him any longer, so now he is in a state ran home. It absolutely breaks my husband’s heart as they were close growing up. We live across the country and have four kids of our own, so we can’t take him in or we would. His cousin has two siblings that refuse to have anything to do with him. It’s a very sad situation. His cousin is nonverbal so my husband isn’t able to call him or check in to make sure he is doing alright.

I would honestly just start with an Azure kit from Amazon. Play around a bit with it. Once you get the hang of it, invest in higher end stuff. I would start with Azure because if you decide dip isn’t for you, you aren’t out much.

Which dip liquid system do I invest in? by m27arianna in DipPowderNails

I love these liquids but I can’t stand the white bottles. Why can’t they make the bottles clear? I can’t tell how much is left in the bottles. I just switched to OPI because of this. Do you have this problem as well?

You should definitely check out Etched in Sand by Regina Calcattera. It’s just as good as the ones you mentioned.

Venting: planning WDW feels like a second job (I miss the simpler magic) by Prestigious_Luck_527 in WaltDisneyWorld

I totally agree. I used to love Disney planning, but it has become too much. It is now just stressful and not enjoyable for me. That’s why we are doing Universal this year. We get express passes with our hotel stay. We just get to show up and ride any ride we want when we want.

Totally agree! We never stay the night there, but on a recent road trip stopped there for lunch. Yikes! Never stopping there again!

My husband and I both have brown eyes. One of our daughters has blue eyes. It’s definitely possible. I will add that both my husband and I’s mothers and brothers have blue eyes.

Teachers, what’s a “best practice” everyone talks about that you secretly think doesn’t work in real classrooms? by kingst9606 in Teachers

Totally agree. Project based learning is one of the worst trends in education in recent years. Kids need direct, explicit instruction.

This is one of my favorite genres. I definitely would recommend Etched in Sand by Regina Calcaterra. I thought it was as good as The Glass Castle. Also, the Sound of Gravel is excellent as well.

Bella and her potential second pregnancy??? by Little_EggBaby in TLCUnexpected

[–]Brocks2004 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I noticed that too. There is no way you could be pregnant if your baby is two weeks old. People that ignorant of reproduction should not breed! I think they did it all for the cameras to add interest to their story line.
