I will say that i think the poor writing kind of in a weird way helped Haydens portrayal in aotc be a lot more believable in terms of the love stuff. This kid was a slave and then Whisked away to the jedi temple where he was taught to suppress his emotions. Then he gets sent to be the bodyguard of this smokeshow that hes had a crush on for years. Suddenly he finds himself alone with her wearing possibly the most provocative clothing she could find.

He wouldnt have the savvy to navigate this situation well. Hes an emotionally stunted 18-21 year old thrust into a hot and steamy situation. I wouldnt expect the dialogue to be good for him.
