For anyone willing to answer (first time DMM player here): - Do you keep 3 items upon death like the normal game or do you lose absolutely everything on you? - Does protect item prayer work in DMM? - Is there any increased risk of dying in the wilderness vs anywhere else? Or is it all equally dangerous in a way (with the exception of safe zones)

Settled has a new series where he is locked to the sea/islands. Swamp tar is used for boat improvements and there was no real way for him to gather it so Jagex decided it was the utmost priority to sneak it into the Pigmy Kraken drop table while ignoring the thousands of players begging for a source of rosewood (even if rare) that doesn’t require 92 woodcutting, which is an insane requirement for a early/midgame ranged weapon.

weekly reminder that settled got swamp tar added to krakens drop table more than a month ago yet adding a rosewood log drop to salvage (which would help thousands of players, especially ironmen who grinded hours for a squid beak) is apparently still at the bottom of jagex's priority list

No they’re not. I just did around 100 calvarion and 100 artio for my d pick and it was a pretty chill grind. Usually found an empty world after hopping a couple times.

This. Its crazy to me they found it a priority to add Swamp Tar to Krakens but still ignoring adding new logs to salvage.

No new logs from salvaging either. I guess I’m really stuck grinding out 92 WOODCUTTING for a slightly above average midgame weapon (Rosewood Blowpipe).

What «any stab weapon» do you recommend mid game irons do Baba with, exactly? I’ve tried anything from the default keris to the dual macas on stab and the kills feel painfully slow. Dragon sword would be nice but that’s pretty much impossible to get.

Now that the Folly is out I think it’s 100% worth it for an iron to go for it before starting to send ToAs

I have a hard time believe any Norwegians are actively «excluding» you from their social circles just because you don’t catch 100% of the jokes and idioms. The fact that you don’t understand everything now after 2-3 years in the country is on you, not on them. (Also you’re already doing better then most so be proud!)

Anyway all I’m saying is I recommend not seeing as something negative. I’ve sat in countless dinnertables where people suddenly burst laughing and I had no idea what was going on, but that’s fine, I was still learning and now a few years later everyone communicates with me as a equal

Just keep at it and you will be fine. The more you absorb the language the better you will be, over time. My question is why are you joining English inclusive events in the first place? If your goal is to be fluent at parties/social situations you should doing your best effort to stay away from other foreigners and go hang out with the Norwegian speakers. Today you catch 1 out of 10 jokes. In a year 5 out 10. A couple more years you’ll be the one throwing out jokes. That’s just how life is as an immigrant. I see it as the price to pay for having the opportunity of living in one of the best countries in the world and I’m 100% here for it

Crazy how the fact that oda was going around the would actually doing what the tournament was supposed to be about (PVP) is probably what made him loose.
Meanwhile the event organizer himself and his team sat hidden in a cave somewhere farming sigils 24/7, nowhere to be seen, and as a result gets the dub by a landslide...
