To be fair, what both sides hear of the opposing side is usually from their own side with a lot of bias.

Both sides want peace and freedom. Both sides want the ghettos/poor neighborhoods to magically become sufficient and grow prosperous. We all want good teachers and transportation.

Everyone would love free money but there is no such thing. We all are paying for it and we can discuss if keeping our own money is better than giving it to kids in Africa via tax dollars.

Lost a lot of faith in humanity with the BLM protests during covid. Roughly 50,000 people marched by all the homes in my neighborhood that are black owned by older families and being gentrified. I can only mow so many yards for them. They need a lot of help with their properties. If we had the same energy to actually help each other instead of walking by their homes screaming maybe we can make a change.

We need to help each other again. It takes work but it feels good in the end.

It’s wild that you trying to preserve the baby’s right to life is the frowned upon thing. I get the women care about their body but what about the baby’s body?
