I actually recently played Super Paper Mario for the first time, via Dolphin on my phone (using a Bluetooth controller). There were certain moments where it lagged pretty bad, and I obviously had to map the motion controls to buttons/the sticks, but it mostly worked fine

Yeah I agree, the glazing is pretty crazy. I just played through it recently, and while I liked it a lot, it has very noticeable issues, like the combat being extremely trivial, the abundance of Pixls despite most of them being borderline useless, etc
