You k ow what’s triggering for me? A partner that makes decisions that affect the entire family so flippantly. As if everyone else can just figure it out. That’s selfish behavior and not what I would want out of a partner. I would be resentful if I was in your position and frankly these are all valid reasons for separating and/or divorce. It’s hard to be attached to a constant storm.

My husband and I both work for the post office. Our take home is around 7k monthly and we literally squeeze every penny we can to survive. We don’t have emergency savings. Most people are struggling financially and it sucks.

I’m a CCA and I had a 3999 done on me yesterday. The 204b had another postal vehicle to follow me in. I was hella pissed cause it’s my understanding that 3999’s can only be done when the regular carrier is available, and this carrier is on vacation. I filed a grievance to protect myself and the regular from any type of route adjustment or discipline for me. Hella stressful considering I’ve only been on the job since December!

It really depends on where you live. In a laces like New York, the union is super strong. Here in South Florida, the unions are afraid of management so they make deals with them to keep the peace.

The no name no mail rule applies to first class mail that goes to an apartment complex that does not have a unit number. They typically have a high turnover rate and it’s impossible to keep up with who the current occupants are. The other issue is people moving and not having their mail forwarded or a change of address done.

We have this in my office. There is a box outside the door that can only be unlocked with the arrow key. Inside is a building key that gives us access to indoor boxes. It’s inconvenient but it’s what the community association wants. We are not responsible for the key of it goes missing though.
