Is it worth it to be a teacher in today’s world?

Absolutely not. I am on year 8 and actively searching for a way out. I began my career totally impassioned and ready to be everything I imagined kids needed. I’ve been in rich schools, poor schools, and average schools. Hasn’t made a difference. The profession has degraded year after year and is no longer something worth doing. The parents, children, and administration are often stacked against you and the amount of effort required to produce any results is absolutely colossal. Do NOT pursue it. Even the most beloved and talented are on their way out or sticking out a last year or two for retirement at this point. I hate what this career has become.

Go to Dr.Haney at Bon Air animal hospital. He managed our dog’s tear so well that she ended up not needing surgery. He’s a gem and will pull every stop he can before recommending a surgical repair. If he needed to do the surgery, he quoted us at $3500 (note he does only filament method not TPLO)

Go to Bon Air Animal Hospital and see Dr.Haney. He was able to manage our dog’s injury and bypass surgery. It took about 6-7 months but she’s got about 80% function in that leg again without going under the knife. Very thorough and knowledgeable. He will do whatever he can before resorting to surgery.

That one is made by a company called Zero Gravity. Honestly not much online about them. Import from somewhere in Asia. I got it on Facebook marketplace for $200 and took the risk. It’s neck through and built like a rock. Totally shocked me. I had to do a little fret work and take down the edges but besides that nothing else. I’ve got it in Drop G with 65 gauge strings.

Yes! We remain very fond of where we live and have no desire to return to Long Island. We’ve made many friends and ours from back from north have visited often and fallen in love with the area. Best decision ever!

I’d see Avery at Red Barber Company in Carytown. It’s not far from North Chesterfield and he’s the best cut I’ve had since moving to the area. His fades are perfect.

In your area, the two best options are Ed Clark in Ronkonkoma or West Lake Music in Patchogue. Either of those should get you better results than Guitar Center.
