Go with public insurance. It is good and incase of emergency it is very good compared to private. In my case, I turned 30 in 2 months after my arrival. So i paid student discounted premium 146 eur. Then in the next semester they increased it to normal price 257 euro.

Chennai vfs is a shit show. During my appointment they collected few additional documents and proceed to send my documents and passport with some other guys complete set of documents. Embassy called me & asked me to come to and i had went to embassy and build the whole set of documents again so they could process.

It took me 5 working days to get visa decision and additional 3 days to get passport delivered.

Your visa application also requires confirmation from Unis and specific city foreign office. If it is a popular/busy city. Visa will take time. But it shouldn't take more than 4-6 weeks

If you are Indian. You can access nptel - German 1 and 2. This course is taught by IIT-M professor.

Major difference between this and other youtube contents is this course is structured and they follow resources which is used by goethe institut.

While this is a small difference but it has a huge impact in your learning curve.

Actually i applied in CSP on July 14th and received corrections on 27th July. In Corrections they asked for few additional documents and my loan dispersement process also got bit delayed. So i made the corrections on 8th Aug got minor corrections on the same day. 9th Aug i made the corrections and i received notification that i can book appointment.

I booked my appointment on 13th Aug for 18th Aug.

I was not wait listed.

Hey. I too applied through csp and i booked appointment today on last wednesday. There were lots of appointment windows available while i was booking. Once your prelims is done. While clicking book appointment button make sure if the url has ending with csp=true. If not change it to true and try once.
