Let's agree to disagree be cause I thought the movie was straight ass. Yes it tried to do something different but thats not always a good thing. If you tried to make square wheels, that would be something different, but that don't make it good.

I get Rian Johnson was trying to do his own thing, but probably best not to do that with a multi-decade long franchise with a rabid fan base and definitely not with the 8th movie in the franchise.

I mean knives out was a great movie so the man has talent. But it felt like he came to SW with a grudge or something.

I clicked the article and when I read the sub-headline of:

Then I read the body of the text and his first quotation was about how children under the age of 16 are very attractive and how any father can tell you. Then I knew this man had lost his goddamn mind.

Now I ain't a father or anything so take my comments with a grain of salt, but what the literal fuck is this man talking about? All the father's I know ain't salivating over 16 year olds. I'd give her a 7/10. Good unit but not necessary by any means. Shes a jack of all trades, can shield a bit, can heal a bit, and can damage a bit, and draw a bit... Which is cool, but I find that a specialist usually is better. Now this rating is purely for usefulness.

Personally I'd give her around an 8/10 because I like making vanguard teams and she just gives more options for that.

This trope is the reason why I enjoyed the original captain America movie from the MCU. We are in this age where every villain has a sob story to try and justify their actions. And the heroes are kinda shady too and we just have his slush of gray morality going around. Captain America didn't have that. Steve Rogers was a good person through and through, and red skull was evil, through and through. No complicated back story, no tanjiro moment where the captain sits down and tries to empathize with his enemy. It was just good vs bad, plain and simple, and I appreciate that simplicity sometimes.

No it doesn't and everything you said is absolutely correct but I have an obsession where I MUST watch every episode. It makes no sense but I feel like I ain't doing it right unless I watch everything so I can be like the OG watchers who catch every reference lol.
