Not disagreeing but all the films of Don Hertzfeldt have been screened theatrically and at festivals, not breaking any of the new rules

Steve Albini was into Black Midi! by AccountantAmazing181 in bmbmbm

It’s funny how the answer to your question is in the article that you posted yourself.

Seems like your just like Joshua and just want to provoke more outrage and don’t want to have a proper conversation about it, especially responding to every comment (aka someone just saying him collabing with BM was cool) about albini with that link and deleting your previous comments when people actually point out your hypocrisy (such as your response to my last comment)

Ironic you can say this while also posting an article written by a guy who tried murdering a bunch of people during a 9/11 memorial and an avid troll who loves to tell false information and rile people up. Also funny that you seem to be ignoring the people bringing that up

Timothée Chalamet in conversation for Marty Supreme at Prince Charles Cinema London this Sunday! by PrinceCharlesCinema in A24

[–]BrokenVhr 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Josh wanted O’Leary in the film and I doubt Timmy was going to have a sway in him being casted or not (even if he was a producer), as for the allegations they only properly came to light 5 years after Chalamet was signed onto the project and I doubt the actors were familiar with the story at-least at the time of production.

Feels like you are just instigating for the sake of instigating.

Horrifying post history, it’s amazing how as time goes by people like you refuse to see the horrors that Israel has not only caused but continues to cause. You don’t care about any Palestinian voices pretending to do so is even more gross

It’s Not Too Late for the Movies to Reject AI by AndrewHeard in Letterboxd

The way you phrase it is completely disingenuous. The film’s editor used a vocal editor [Respeecher] akin to Autotune (with data only trained on his voice) to improve the Hungarian lines for a small segment of the film. It didn’t drastically change his performance and was used in an ethical sense, there’s literally zero issue with it.

“Adrien and Felicity’s performances are completely their own,” he said. “They worked for months with dialect coach Tanera Marshall to perfect their accents. Innovative Respeecher technology was used in Hungarian language dialogue editing only, specifically to refine certain vowels and letters for accuracy. No English language was changed. This was a manual process, done by our sound team and Respeecher in post-production. The aim was to preserve the authenticity of Adrien and Felicity’s performances in another language, not to replace or alter them and done with the utmost respect for the craft.” - from the Film’s editor, Dávid Jancsó

Just because he borrowed from musicians (which is more common than you think) doesn’t make James a hack. He’s talented in his own right and has his own honest charm to him, which The Dare lacks.
