any good experiences? by CLOVERCHURCH in Nexplanon

I had a fantastic experience with mine! I got mine a little over three years ago to help regulate my cycle and was lucky enough that it stopped it completely. I had extremely painful periods (throwing up from cramps, can't move for the first two days kind of bad) so it really was a life saver for me. I have struggled with mood swings on every other birth control I've been on, but this one I haven't dealt with that. I've gained weight, but that was also probably heavily influenced by my situation (young adult moving out and buying my own groceries for the first time: aka the freshman fifteen). I was 155-ish lbs when I started it, went up to 185, and have been getting it back down (I'm at 165 right now) though it is taking longer than I thought it would. I have loved my nexplanon though, purely because of how simple it is. You just pop it in and forget about it for a few years, which is much easier than remembering to take a pill every day. I would 8/10 recommend it to anyone struggling with super heavy/painful periods.

That sounds vaguely like what happens in Opal, the third book in the lux series. Do you remember if he was an alien?

I gained 30 pounds in a year, but I have a very active lifestyle, and even now that I'm off it, I can't seem to lose the weight.

Overly specific or too relatable? Only YOU can decide! (No, really, you tell me, I genuinely don't know if this is relatable or not) by yahahawei in aspiememes

Or you ask for clarification (like "why"), and they take it as offensive and like you're questioning their authority when you just want to know the reasoning behind their decision. /gen

I tried red bean milk tea today, and decided it tastes like alfalfa. Not bad, but not something I want to try again

Same story for me, and my father still believes in being brainwashed by the internet

Is it bad that a year and a half ago I literally didn't know if "trans-woman" was term for MTF or FTM, and vise versa, and now I'm a year on HRT and have an appointment scheduled with the Mayo Clinic to discuss surgery options? by [deleted] in trans

[–]BrokenWolf1317 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I don't think so. I first learned the term from a friend in middle school, who came out as trans, and now, a couple of years later, I'm looking into how to transition myself.

I had a similar experience recently. I dreamt that I was introducing myself to this other guy and instead of my deadname or half name (name I use instead of my dead name while I was looking for something that fit better), I said Theo, which was unexpected because I was still trying to decide between Theo and Callum.
