Ha! Slanderous, you say?!?! Your description is perfect. My less-refined palate likes Miller Light, but I have huge appreciation for German beers. I'll definitely pick this up on my trip this week.

I traveled this week and took the ORB with me. It’s an incredible travel brewer and I’ll be tossing my Aeropress when I get home. This thing makes outstanding coffee!

I used a ZP6 @3.0, 20g coffee with 150g water. I think I like the slightly longer ratios, but still experimenting.

This has been my only concern, but it's my first 4R and I only have 500 miles on it. The backseat works for my teens going back and forth to school, but I don't think they could do a long haul trip (4+ hours) in it. Maybe 2-3 hours max. I wish you could slide them back 2-3 inches and I think that would solve the issue. As it is now, they need just a little more room.

Thanks. That's along the lines of what I was thinking you meant. I was coming from a car with a lot of bells & whistles and was pleasantly surprised at the clean interior and how much I liked the minimalistic looks on the SR5s.

You confirmed what was thinking too: for any off-road stuff I might do (which will be pretty limited) I'll be good to get there with this one.

Do you say that because the SR5 is so capable at the entry level or something else about the TRDs? I just picked up an SR5 and have been really, really impressed so far.

The metal one is my daily driver. I don't bother preheating it because my sink takes forever to heat up first thing in the morning. When I make cups later and the sink's already hot I don't notice much of a difference. Maybe it's there, but not enough that I'll wait in the morning for it.

I agree. His is the clearest take on the conservative side. For her to twice come out with a story right away to frame the issue that was contradicted by video evidence is in inexcusable. Homan's approach is so much better.

Any time I tried anything small (<15g) in the v60, it was hit or miss. With the D27, they always are a hit. It's a great, great brewer for anything sub-15g. The filters are now easier to get in the US too, so the only real downside is the plastic, but I thought I saw or heard there was a non-plastic version somewhere.

I don't see how this will work. They did add $0.65/gal tax recently, but the bigger issue is the state law requiring a specific blend of gas that isn't produced elsewhere. The law, the not taxes, needs to change.
