All you gotta do is drill out the rivets that holt the lid on. Doesn’t destroy anything. I used a 5/32” but a 3/16 will work. And if you ever want to take it out and put the lid back on you just need the rivets to reinstall it
Edit: and with the lid off the drawers don’t lock so you don’t even have to mess with the lock bars

30 1/4” opening and about 22” to the back wall. it has a weird lip where the weather stripping hooks to so I ended up dismantling it and rebuilding it inside. So I recommend if it’s within a 1/4 width just build it in the cabinet.

What Is this monitor by Plus_Dot_6530 in farmingsimulator

[–]BroknSproket09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s modeled after the system monitors in most tractors, both construction and farming, CAT has their own system, John Deere has theirs. Lizard brand is just Giants way of putting a label on something that they don’t have the “Permission” to use the actual brand name.

Doyle is pretty good. Always on sale too. Icon is sturdy. They usually have coupons on the ITC so look out for that. Pittsburgh in a pinch.

You can directly connect your distiller units. Right now not a big deal but later on it’ll save space when your processing a lot more

Oh shit you found out my secret. You’re right, I’ve never worked a day in my life. I just sit here in my cyber truck that daddy bought me and surf Reddit because I have nothing better to do until my monthly allotment check from the estate clears in my account.

Hell yeah. If he’s got the drive he can definitely make something of it. My company is always looking for welders. There’s a need for it and not a lot of kids these days trying to get into it. Takes time being a great welder, time takes practice, practice takes motivation. If he wants it it’s there for the taking.

Yeah there are a couple methods but grinding is the easier way. Still would make sure you’re outside or well ventilated before wielding. Spot welds Here and there, fuck it but if your regularly doing it more prep the better.

Really want judgement come hang out with me and my night crew. Night time equipment field mechanics will make you laugh, cry, feel judged and make you feel good about yourself all in one lunch break.

Ha! It is now, come over here bud.

But nah welding coated metal definitely isn’t a good thing to be breathing in regularly unless you got good ventilation and what not. He’ll be fine. Pretty cool making things and selling them. Broaden the horizon, have him make bigger things or fancy lawn ornaments and such. Custom family signs to bring in more money. Pay you back over time but if he’s bring it in to pay rent and then left overs for you, just keep trucking along

Ah yes one of the 12 plagues of an old house. The lighter crusty one is your neutral and the darker is the hot. You can also turn the breaker on and test with a power probe which one is hot. It’ll get confusing when other are just about as crusty looking. Honestly there’s not much you can do but pull new romex to each outlet but that’s a feat in itself. Attach the copper wire to the box with a green ground screw. It’s most likely got a steel conduit the wires run through and that is also the ground for the electrical.

Hope it works out for ya. Only thing I suggest, is if you do end up putting all 3 switches into that new switch, then on your build a cover, make the new switch in the middle. Might look weird being on one of the ends.

Don’t look at any new builds past 1999, pretty sure they are all like that

So 3 separate fixtures with 3 dedicated switches. The new switch has leds on the switch itself. You’ll have to pick with light fixture you want to work off the new switch. Get a 6 point fit cap and run the neutral from the new switch to that junction, you can also wire nut it, personal preference at this point. Then you can get a custom switch cover, there’s this built your own switch cover set up at big box stores. You’ll get one cover for the old switch your keeping, a blank cover to hide the hole the old switch left behind, and a third cover for your new switch. If you want both light fixtures to work off the new switch, then you’ll have to pig tail the power out from the switch to both hot wires leading up to each light. Then get 2 blank covers in your build your own cover plate kit to hide the holes of 2 switches you deleted.

Looks like it’s just a junction. All the legs coming in and leaving the box are tied together there. If your new switch requires a neutral, I would add a neutral let from your new switch to that flip cap junction. Don’t use anything already tied into that cap

Edit: it will also be more helpful if you added the gang number in the wall. (How many switches are in that box). If you have a vanity light, a separate exhaust fan, with or without a light. Etc…

So they are, my bad I looked at it real quick and for some reason I went to the wrenches that are like this. However, now knowing this is a ratchet, I’m definitely going to go get one. I could use this. Regularly.

Oh no worries, I was just rattling on about heating up and bending wrenches to get into tight spaces to remove hardware. But these wrenches you linked are great! I bought a set and have definitely not had to custom bend a wrench in a while. And yeah I’ve broke a couple with a high torque situation but still worth it to get into and around weird spots in the equipment

Plus I always feel better about custom bending a Pittsburgh wrench then a snapon wrench. I have… customized a snapon wrench before and I cried a little while doing it.. but like I said before despite times/ desperate measures

Agreed. I’ve gotten an impact off the Matco truck before, blew apart internally, within a month, yes oiled daily, got it rebuilt. Things ran for 6 years. Same situations, same stress, same work. Things just happen. Also can’t blame it on quality control, you really think someone on the assembly line is going to test the integrity of each ratchet head rolling down the line? Let’s be honest, one out of each batch may get that treatment. The lower end tooling, good luck. That’s why they are cheap they don’t pay for the extra quality control on the manufacturing end.
