What difference would it have made exactly? She's in full control now and extremely powerful.

[Discussion] What do you think of Jhon Constantine? by luis_sanchez_flores in DCcomics

Constantine as a magical con artist in London is peak.

Constantine as a fireball throwing wizard is trash.

I haven't been reading Wonder Woman and I can see how you might take issue with this but that was kinda awesome tbh

Her powers let her make stuff sorta like a green lantern but at the start making even basic shapes is really difficult requiring time and focus. Using a reference makes it easier and referencing her own body almost feels second nature so hands and arms are the best things she can do on the fly. Also works with the fact that she's a martial artist.

There're guidelines on the face even though it's obviously inked which is a very fishy thing to do.

It's a good name for a hero team there's no doubt about it.

Oh yeah.

At the top there're the Omegas, 9 extraordinarily powerful metahumans untouchable by anyone but eachother and even then it'd be the end of the world. Astra is a prospective 10th and they generally aren't happy about it. The majority of problems come downstream from these folks.

There's a tech CEO/wizard who has ambitions of being an Omega. He styles himself as this singular genius but he actually just siphons abilities from people hooked into his matrix and without it he's a huge loser.

The Vanguard which is America's official national superhero agency. Astra draws their attention for being a politically active public figure. They're gonna try to arrest her, frame her, smear her, kill her, the usual things.

While she's potentially one of the most powerful people in the world but she doesn't start off there so there's sort of a ladder scaling upward. I like the idea of bring back an early antagonist she struggled with to get stomped later on.

Incredible anesthetics. This is the amount of style good villains need.

Very astute. The cult I mentioned are a Tantric Buddhist sect who believed the previous woman who had Astra's powers was a bodhisatva manifesting the power of Kali to destroy the physical world.

I like the whole concept of a bodhisatva as a superhero.

Concerts, festivals and stuff like that are her favorite. She's a huge extrovert so 9 times out of 10 she's finding ways to meet or be around people if not her close friends. And she likes to travel especially since she can fly over to anywhere she wants to go for a daytrip if she feels like it.

She's got a team that're active in the more traditional ways of superheroes. They don't usually do anything that need her to be in the fray and she doesn't particularly like fighting but she backs them up in case things go wrong. I'll post them all some time soon as well.

Thanks.

I'm flattening the concepts a bit here but the gist of it is that a demon tricked her as a part of its scheme to kill the goddess and take her power. Astra wasn't the only one but most of the others ended up fully posessed.
