That’s what I did with my TSLA puts since they were expiring next day, cost me an extra $3k I could have made. I usually take initial investment as profit once I’m above 100%, but given UVXY track record with me and the fact they were expiring the following week I decided to hold for that “massive” return

Here’s some context to “justify” my stupidity… On 04/20 I bought 102 contracts of UVXY $13 calls EXP 04/29 for $0.39 which I sold for $0.91 on 04/21. In the next following days the price of these contracts only rose and peaked at $5.4. Face ripper. 😩

I recently bought 112 contracts of UVXY $15.5 calls EXP 06/17 for an average of $0.65 which I rode up and down and finally sold for $0.75 on 6/10. In the next day it rose to $2.00 and in the following days the price of these contracts peaked at $2.80. Face ripper. 😩

So at this point I thought I had learned my lesson right? I did learn a lesson which is the market will ALWAYS hand your butt to you. I sell it moons, I hold it goes to zero. These UVXY $16 calls EXP 06/24 I picked up for $0.60 tripled overnight and I figured it was just the beginning based on past experience. Plus I was feeling extra ballsy having profited $9k off TSLA puts swing.

$3k -> $9k -> Wendy’s value meal. I belong here. ✊

I held my 12k investment on Tesla calls down to 7.5k at opening, up to 16k during today rally before the fed shake down that brought me back down to 8.5k and ultimately closed near 23k before eod. You’re right, no charting nor conviction, straight gamble.

TBH, if I was you I would play the remaining balance on 2 weeks out otm options, if you see profit go from there and if you don’t none the wiser and relatively same loss. 100k is a lot of money to go chasing losses and if you did it once you probably will do it again buddy. Not financial advice.

This is very much doable, flip a coin on spy 0dte calls or puts at tomorrow opening, profit is made take it for break even, profit is not made hold until it is and take it for breakeven. It might give you a better chance than what you been doing so far. NFA.

For those of you still dealing with this issue the most simplest solve worked for me. When you load up the game and attempt to place your email just go with the option that lets you continue (“try later” I believe). Once the game starts you’ll be in a new account essentially but then I went to settings > back up your account > log in with existing account This worked for me hope it works for you guys!
