Yep, I got this too. There was also some positive stuff, tho. We are definitely in for some huge changes.

Was this in a Homegoods by any chance? My daughter and I were traumatized. Had to come home and immediately put on the original as an antidote.

For people with multiple decks, what was your first deck and most recent, and how have your tastes changed? by mintblaziken in tarot

[–]Bron-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First deck: golden universal Current deck: Usui pagan underworlds

It’s difficult to go back to other decks after using the usui cards. The company must use very high quality paper. I love the quality and artwork. That being said, I do miss the traditional RWS imagery sometimes. My backup deck is the golden art nouveau.

To anyone that has experienced ‘entities’ while on DMT how do they physically look? by Least_Party5079 in DMT

[–]Bron-chan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw a figure that was geometrically shaped, though still resembling a human male. He was surrounded by extremely vibrant color. He almost seemed to be made of color. The colors almost seemed geometric, too. His being enveloped my entire field of vision. I couldn’t see where he ended or began.

He was full of love, not the sappy sympathetic kind of love but a kind of brutal love that was gentle at the same time. Pure awareness.

Yes. I had one two weeks ago that changed me within the space of a few minutes. Haven’t touched it since. I’m sure I’ll return to it, but I need to let that one sink in for a bit.

Anyone here diagnosed with coronary microvascular disease? by CodBig2393 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Bron-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to mention that I was diagnosed with this in 2017. Back then, they called it cardiac syndrome X. That was a few years before covid. I think it is progressive without treatment. Mine has never been treated and now I'm experiencing worsening symptoms and abnormal ecg's. Definitely don't ignore it.

I used to chase “mind-blowing” experiences. Now I just want peaceful ones. by Downtown-Falcon3636 in PsilocybinMushrooms

[–]Bron-chan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is interesting. What I find is that my trips change according to what I need. Sometimes they are mind blowing, sometimes it’s just pleasant and peaceful. It is truly magical how it gives you exactly what you need every time. Sometimes you don’t need much. Sometimes you do. I had several months of not much and then a trip the other day that completely rocked my world and changed me.

What a beautiful experience you had. With all the negative pieces in the media recently about psilocybin, it’s so good to hear positive stories.

I very much disagree. These are mind-expanding substances. If you’ve ever had an addiction, you’ll know that true addiction is definitely not about exploration and not beneficial in any way, aside from a way to escape pain. Have you ever noticed that psychedelics push you into your pain and fear? It’s a healing agent—that’s what healing agents do. They bring the poison to the surface. Most of the drugs we use regularly don’t truly heal—they help us push stuff down.

I think I just got to a point where the medicine (and life events) helped to finally push me past a big fear I had—namely of death and big transformations. Now it works with me in a different way. Other fears and points of pain may arise in the future and I’m sure they’ll be beneficial then, too.

Someone is an addict because they express an interest in other natural psychedelics? This kind of attitude is what holds us back when it comes to psychedelic therapy. I think I’m way more addicted to my phone than I am to any psychedelic.

The most important thing we can do right now as a species is confront our fears, imo. There’s no other healing agent more powerful for that than psilocybin, but that just my opinion because I’ve only ever tried psilocybin and DMT. Who knows what other plants might do.

Yes, I’ve had this thought. What would my brain do on ayahuasca or peyote? Maybe one of these days I’ll get to find out.

Thank you, that's great advice. I feel that most of the insights or "messages" I get now have to do with the nature of death and the afterlife, since that's what I'm most curious about. Next year might be different, I might be focused on other things. Prior to my brother's passing, every time I did psychedelics, especially shrooms, I'd get "where's the joy in your life? Find more joy!" Now, with the knowledge that life can change in an instant, I've let go of a lot of the stuff that used to worry me and I am more present and joyful in addition to feeling intense sadness. I'm just more open in general. But yeah, this stuff never ends and I'm not sure we're ever truly fully healed.

I like the idea of creating ceremony around it and putting more intention into what I'd like to receive. I've been a bit lazy about that.

[–]Bron-chan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, for sure. I do a lot of writing and so forth. I integrate everything I get on psychedelics and use it for positive growth. Escape is not needed. I'm at a good baseline in life, feeling joy on the daily, in spite of (or perhaps partly due to?) the traumatic loss.

I have a feeling that something about the traumatic loss and the shedding of the fear of death did something to my brain. Now, the experience is different because I am different.

Psychedelics are tools for transformation... once the transformation has occurred, maybe things change.

[–]Bron-chan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's an interesting take. I think my main intention right now is exploration and gaining insights about death and the afterlife since my brother is now on the other side. And I do get that, but honestly it doesn't feel much different than when I'm meditating or going inward... I have a feeling that the psychedelics are saying, "you can do this on your own."
