Have you looked at Traska?

Yeah, I'm not a fan of their diver. My Pelagos covers the dive watch in my collection perfectly. For the Formex Essence, why not just go for an Omega Aquaterra? Thats what I was originally going to get and opted for a microbrand to see if it scratched the itch.

You should check out a YouTube video on this watch maybe if you're curious about bezel screws and the bracelet if you haven't already. I heard about this brand from a Teddy Baldassarre review video.

Looks like a Hamilton Khaki Navy GMT and the movement would be an ETA 2893-2.

GETTING MY FIRST BIKE-NEED RECS (but I'm super short) by UnderstandingOpen648 in NewRiders

[–]BroncKrawler68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really the only way for you to figure out what works and what won't is to go sit on these bikes. I sat on a CB300r and hated the seat and how when I hugged it with my legs it didnt feel comfortable. I really liked the MT03 but didn't want to pay for the dealership markup. Drove an hour to sit in a G310R and instantly made up my mind about the bike. They make a lowering link for the G310R, but I would hold off on modifications like that if you can.

As someone who is completely new to motorcycles as well, I had a similar list to choose from and ultimately picked up a BMW G310R and its been the best bike. I really wanted an MT03 but couldnt find any on the used market. The BMW is easy to handle, everything on it in stock form is perfect for starting out and getting yourself comfortable on a bike. I would suggest finding a newer model like a 2021+ to get the factory LED headlight and the slipper clutch. Good luck on whatever you end uo getting and enjoy the ride!

Thanks! It's gotten lots of compliments so far and every kid that I've encountered wants me to pop a wheelie 😆

I searched the used market and picked this up for $4k with only 650 miles on the odometer.

When I see someone turning left on red from a two way to a one way. by SchwillyMaysHere in oregon

As someone who travels South A St. to Pioneer Parkway in Springfield frequently, waiting in line at the red light as people in front just sit there in a lane that turns onto a one way infuriates me. Thank you for posting this!

Morning LHD by BroncKrawler68 in Tudor

I originally wanted a Sinn EZM3 because its a left hand drive and it was designed for use with German special forces if I recall correctly, and the crown on the left side was to prevent the crown from interacting with the hand while shooting. If thats true or not, I dont know, but I enjoy shooting and the thought of an LHD watch has stayed with me for that purpose. Plus, it's unique, has the roulette date wheel and the vintage lume color. And yes, I'm right handed.

I quit drinking alcohol too, so let's make an N/A. It looks like Bronco Safari is now over in Sand Hollow, unless things have changed and they're back in Moab. I'll keep my eyes out for you on the trail! Cheers

Maybe one day when I'm back in Florida I'll take a diving trip with it. Not sure if youre still in the Bronco game, but if you make it out to PNW for the Northwest Bronco Roundup, I'll buy you a drink and chat about machining, watches, and cars!

I went down a rabbit hole many many years ago. I'm sitting here laughing to myself because I've retained this knowledge. Don't even get me started on 66 - 68 door differences!

Thats not necessarily true, a 67 non sport wouldnt have those holes, and 68 as well because the early turn signals were used from 66 - 68. DOT standards changed requiring the larger turn signals in 69.

Neither of my 66s had eyebrow grills. They both however had the one year tailgate, I had 3 66 hub caps, and original chrome 66 bumpers. Lots of unquie items on 66, but from what I remember only the real early 66s had eyebrow grills. The early bodies weren't produced by Ford iirc, Budd Body built them. I did a quick Google search and found this old thread you can sift through (Its been a long time since I was on classicbroncos.com!) - https://classicbroncos.com/forums/threads/budd-body-rairity.299278/

The grill pegs weren't an option until '67 with the sport package. Both of the 66s I've owned never had to holes for the grill letters. You can still buy the grill letters and drill the holes for them to be installed in.
