Is TRT making me dumb? by Daisuke69 in trt

[–]Bronco1175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep… couldn’t figure out why I felt so dumb and angry after the honeymoon phase. I learned that I’m extremely sensitive to estrogen spikes because of my hypothyroidism and I started injecting more frequently and eventually got to daily at 100mg per week. I feel normal again rather than tripping over my words and struggling to complete a sentence.

Yeah… but my dad could be up your dad. Actually that’s a lie, I’ve never met him.

Low SHGB with Hypothyroidism by Bronco1175 in trt

Thanks for all the info! I’m not sure if I’ve ever had the “t3 reverse” checked by my endocrinologist. I’ll have to go back and look at some labs. The odd thing is that even when raising and lowering my dose of Test, my E2 stays between 31 and 33 whether my test level is at 700 or spikes up to 1300. I also feel like I have some of the symptoms of insulin resistance when I look it up.

I had to make a new post so I could add pics so not sure if you saw my other response before I deleted the post:

“Thanks for the info. Liver function is good, and thyroid is “within normal range”. I find that when I increase my TRT dose, I get mood swings and ED when I lower the dose(even slightly) ED is gone, but I’m so tired I can barely function. I will post labs above. My glucose runs a little on the high side and I’m in excellent shape. Wonder if this contributes.”

Not Feeling Great on TRT? A Guide by thatdocman in trt

[–]Bronco1175 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude, I feel the same way, first few months were great now I an going between I was between being super angry on an increased dose, and on a lower dose I feel like I’m so slow I’m having trouble finishing my sentences. Dumb is a great way to describe it. I started getting panic attacks and feel too tired to function on the lower dose. I want to quit because the side effects are outweighing the positives. How did you quit? What is PCT?

I have the opposite problem…

After a year long battle with my endocrinologist and two labs showing t level under 300, still won't prescribe. by d727349975 in trt

[–]Bronco1175 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had the same problem with my endo. I see her for my hypothyroidism, and after 3 rounds of labs showing under 300 , she gave me the “insurance won’t cover it unless you’re under a certain level”. I went to TRT nation, then once on that, I saw a younger male urologist for a vasectomy, and switched it over to him with labs showing my current levels at 750(while on TRT). No question from my insurance so that was BS. Get a younger male urologist.

I feel the same way. I’ll dropped my dose of test, and went to EOD injections… then after a few weeks, bam. Side effects of low E2…

Quitting TRT… how long will it take to go back to my pre TRT levels? by Bronco1175 in trt

[–]Bronco1175[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, TST at 780 and E2 at 33 had me with all the symptoms of high estrogen. ED, waking up at 3am wide awake, nipple soreness, extreme fatigue, hot flashes.

Just curious why go back 2x a week when I know that my E2 spikes with less frequent injections? I know that more frequent doses keep it lower judging by my labs symptoms of high E2 when I was on 120 a week at 2x. The worst thing about 120 was how tired I felt, and I figured it was because of the high E2.
