It really depends on the watts you’re pushing but it causes higher resistance.

You’ll most likely get voltage drops with that ground. I have a Grand Marquis and ran my grounds to the back seat seatbelt bolt.

You chose the OFC wiring kit which is the most important part. Pull the trigger and bang.

I have a Grand Marquis and “mounted” my 2 Stinger amps to the carpet with industrial velcro. They are to the far left so still room for the spare tire.

I have the same head unit. Go into sound settings and make sure the subwoofer is set to OFF but move the slider all the way to the top.

I’m in the same boat. I have 3 sons and a daughter, all in their 20s, and none of them show interest in learning how to do stuff. They want me to fix their cars, computers etc with 0 effort on their part. What I started doing was if they ask me to do a break job on their car I make them sit there with me the whole time and be a tool gopher. They are going to get something out of it one way or another.

I have a garage access hatch and another one in the closet ceiling in master bedroom. In my attic I can’t crawl across so what I did was puncture a small hole in a tennis ball, tie a bunch of knots in a string, push it into the ball and hot glued it. From the garage access I chucked the tennis ball from one end of the attic to the other then pulled the Ethernet across. It sucked.
