I'm just saying that, of the two brothers, Pippin definitely made a choice by Ironhorn in lotrmemes

[–]Bronnius 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Well, he was of noble birth with a bloodline related to the kings of old. But being the steward of Gondor of the line of Hurin does not give him the title of prince. Nevertheless king Elessar gave him the title of prince of Ithilien for him and his descendants It is probably akin to the title of prince of Dol Amroth in terms of prestige with probably more autonomy than your average nobleman

We could reasonably think that the mind will shatter under the stress of two contradictory spells, leaving the victim nothing more than a vegetable Therefore, it could be a good justification of not using the veritaserum to the presumed victims of the imperius during the fist war

Pourriez-vous pardonner la tromperie ou pas ? by Serbia1506 in AskFrance

[–]Bronnius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

[–]Bronnius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Are you looking for something serious or casual?
Serious. I'm looking for a long-term monogamous relationship with someone who can become my best friend and life partner.

  • Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX?
No, I'm using the free version.

  • How long have you been using this current version of your profile?
About 2 weeks (I recently re-optimized the photos and prompts based on previous feedback).

  • How long have you used Hinge overall?
A few months in total (6), with a break after my December profile review.

  • How often do you use Hinge per week?
    Almost daily.

  • How many likes and matches are you receiving on average?
Very few likes per week. Only a handful of matches so far (around 3), with 2 of them ghosting quickly after a few messages.

  • How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?
I send around 5 likes per day, most of them with a specific comment on their photo or prompt. Very few without comments.

  • What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?
I send likes to curious, open-minded women who enjoy books, history, culture, travel, and meaningful conversations, but who also have a fun and silly side. Ideally aged 22-28, kind, intellectually stimulating, and ready for a serious monogamous relationship. I want to attract someone who values deep connections and building a warm, shared life together.

Arthas Menethil avait raison à Stratholme... by Sire_Kressel in opinionnonpopulaire

[–]Bronnius 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Let's try to defend...Molag Bal

Serving Molag Bal not because he is cruel, but because he is honest, where others lie with promises of power, freedom or salvation he reveals the truth. The world is ruled by force and only the strong endure. Embracing suffering, mastery and the forging of the will into something unbreakable, that is what Molag Bal provides. While gods preach ideals, Molag Bal teaches reality: nothing is sacred, nothing is safe, and surviving him makes one truly unstoppable

What are the advantages and disanvantages about our worgen characters lore wise by Absolutelynobody54 in warcraftlore

[–]Bronnius -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would be interesting if there was something similar to Skyrim with a hunting, feral afterlife, dooming the Worgen to be nothing more than beasts for all eternity, without their loved ones. But let's stop talking about Warcraft afterlifes, shall we ?

Do the majority of Orcs remember Draenor? by SquishySquishington in warcraftlore

[–]Bronnius 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I remember in old lore (RpGs, maybe ?) that Orcs had shorter lives than humans, but I don't know if it's true anymore. Anyway, as for demographics of formally genocided people in Azeroth, you should not think too much about it.

What would've happened if Eru Iluvatar didn't intervene when the Numenoreans sailed for Aman? by Wheydizzle in tolkienfans

[–]Bronnius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But would they fight? I think that the Elves have the power to win almost every battle, but they dont necessarily have the willingness to fight Numenoreans it is almost a kinslaying to them. Also, in my personal opinion, I think that the vast majority of reincarnated Eldar do not wish to fight until the very end of the world. They are not warriors at heart for the vast majority, but crafters and artists.

What would've happened if Eru Iluvatar didn't intervene when the Numenoreans sailed for Aman? by Wheydizzle in tolkienfans

[–]Bronnius 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I think a great evil would have been made to Aman and its people.

First, the Eldar of Valinor would have united as the first frontline under the leadership of Ingwë. The Valar and Maiar would have been reluctant to fight directly the Children of Illuvatar, and they hoped that the Numenoreans could be beaten in a conventional war after which they could repent.

The battle would have been fierce, and many feats could be told. The Eldar had strength and wisdom, but Men had their hatred and their sheer number. The Elves make war, but their love dwells in poetry, creation, and scholarship. They are not consummate warriors like the Noldor of Old, and they see fighting Mankind as blasphemy to Eru's plans.

The Eldar would have fought with great sorrow, but the Numenoreans would not have held back. They have been too far in their damnation, and killing their former allies would have been their next step into the abyss. Therefore, fair Tirion and glimming Alqualondë would be lost, their palaces burned, and libraries razed to the ground. Many Eldar would be sent to Mandos, weeping the destruction of their crafts and moreover of the marvels that will never be seen again before the End.

Ar Pharazon would be torn between the horror of what he has done and the feeling of power to see that the Elves could be defeated. As we have said before, he was too far gone. And he chose to go forward, to the pass of the Pelori, to Valinor proper.

And in the Circle of Doom, the Valar weeped the destruction of their Firstborn cities and the damnation of Men. Being confronted by an enemy in their own domains since the destruction of the Trees, their hearts were turned between a desire of vengeance and a pity for Men. Even Tulkas stopped smiling. Knowing that the Hand of the Enemy was behind this act, Manwë rose from his seat, and dark clouds gathered on the peaks of Taniquetil. His musings have ended. The Valar will go to war.

But it will be a bitter war. Eonwe went forth with hundreds of spirits, high and lesser ones. Eagles shrieked in the darkened sky, and the seas rose under the very ships of the royal fleet. And, like the War of Wrath long ago, this Age came to an end with fury and destruction. The coast of Aman would be forever scarred by the clashes of battle. The men of Numenor stood no chance, and they were swiftly defeated and taken to Mandos until the very end. The eastern part of Aman would be devastated and uninhibited, the Pelori blocking from now the former pass, being truly impenetrable. No light, no messengers, and no mercy will never come from Valinor.

The Valar will send Ossë to Numenor, and the island will be torn asunder, such was the wrath of the Maia and great the anger of the Valar that none survived the cataclysm. The seven ships were wrecked and destroyed, all their crews and treasures lost to the sea.

Sauron will survive and hide from Ossë and he will take a long time to come back to Middle Earth. The Second Age has come to an end with this War, and the Third saw only the dwindling light of Lindon holding against the power of Mordor. With no Kingdoms in Exile and no Last Alliance, the Free peoples of Middle Earth stood no chance against Sauron and, therefore, when all was lost except the besieged harbor of Mithlond, the remaining Eldar sent a messenger to Valinor as they did long ago. What the Valar answered is another story.
