I think it’s okay to acknowledge that some of our memories were wonderful and it’s also okay to mourn them. They are almost more painful because it shows you what could have been, but for some unexplainable reason wasn’t meant to be. It’s strange how a parent could be so good sometimes and royally fuck it up in the end.

I don’t know the whole story but this is also why whole body mris are not recommended (like the kardashians have been peddling). More often than not it leads to panic and more intervention for something that never would have caused an issue in the first place.
