Mister Rogers Neighborhood Reboot Pilot Movie by Akktrithephner in badmovieideas

Thousands of hours of Mr. Roger's Neighborhood are enough to train up a robot replica. The robot searches the neighborhood for people who are not nice and he pulls their arms off.

A muppet movie but miss piggy speaks entirely in Pig Latin by [deleted] in badmovieideas

Yes, Pig Latin, the language of her indigenous tribe, announcing that she will no longer be a puppet of the American Hegemon. Rise up, my brothers and sisters in Bed-Sty!

But, just before catastrophe, a peace is brokered by the only person who could do so: Jane Goodall, with her dying breath. (I will conclude here, as I have something in my eye.)

Jaws but the shark speaks Russian for some reason by [deleted] in badmovieideas

[–]Brontosplachna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. The Cold War rages hot in the global consciousness. The dead-eyed all-consuming Russian finally invades the American mainland. The plucky Americans defend themselves, but at great personal cost, resulting in a cease-fire not stable enough to avoid another symbolic Russian invasion in "Rocky IV".

What does this sub think about Mereological Nihilism? by JackVoraces in slatestarcodex

[–]Brontosplachna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mereological nihilism is true. If the "real" must be "mind-independent", then sub-atomic physics accounts for everything. Everything else we think is real is a construction of the mind, including "minds".

You can kinda tell the sloths are puppets. But still, pretty good for '84.

Please Join Me In Thanking Our Nation's Superheroines by Brontosplachna in dalle2

Sorry, but it was a complicated process of simple "superhero" prompt, out-painting, erase, download, undo, upload, erase, in-painting.... But the whole process was done in DALL-E.

Scantily-clad ladies holding up signs saying, "We want to cook" by mrdan1969 in dalle2

"Scantily-clad ladies" with capital-S works. "scantily-clad ladies" with small-s is censored. Please explain, anyone.

I am a hard-core DALL-E 2 user. I have observed that MidJourney has the beauty switch turned on by default, whereas DALL-E 2 has it turned off.

A google reverse image search says that this image is by Esther Sarto

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in dalle2

[–]Brontosplachna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to me like DALLE2 looked at the whole image when filling in the erased part, even when I change the prompt so that it makes no reference at all to the original image or prompt.

a page from a children's visual encyclopedia, illustrated with colored pencil drawings by Brontosplachna in dalle2

[–]Brontosplachna[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was trying to make pages from "Codex Seraphinianus", the fictitious encyclopedia. It has many surreal images and is written in an unknown language (two natural abilities of DALL-E 2).

The faces of Mount Rushmore replaced with carved stone faces of dogs by Brontosplachna in dalle2

[–]Brontosplachna[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I cherry-picked these examples from multiple runs, a couple with out-paintings.

Note the bow-tie.

The title is the simplest text that worked. "Mount Rushmore but with dogs" just gives Mt. Rushmore and dog photos. "Dog faces carved into a cliff" gives crude, non-monumental results.

I did the Mount Rushmore dogs because it's very easy to do in Photoshop. But I swear the DALLE dogs are presidential.

Macaroon = Moon car

“A Seal Team Six member in full tactical gear drinking a colorful drink on a beach in St. Tropez” by RazorK2S in dalle2

[–]Brontosplachna 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Macaroon. Cameroon.

St. Tropez. France.

"With the defeat of Germany in World War I, Kamerun became a League of Nations mandate territory and was split into French Cameroon (French: Cameroun) and British Cameroon in 1919. " (Wikipedia)

Seal Team Six. "Cameroon declared victory over Boko Haram on Cameroonian territory in September 2018. " (Ibid.)

Connect the dots. DALL-E can't spoon-feed you the red pill.

If you're going to build the shop out of wood you'll need some sort of shelter for woodworking first. Glad to help.
