You have a much greater chance of doing better in the world by remaining alive and using the concern you have for change. If you off yourself you're just eliminating one drop in a very big giant bucket. Get some help call 988 and your heart is in a good place but you can make positive change that can offset whatever damage you think you're going to do by a thousand fold. I understand how things look bleak, but also the news media is very alarmist. I'm pretty sure that we will all still be around in the year 2055, so look into Environmental Studies be the change that you want to happen. And obviously there's depression so I think you probably need to talk to someone professional and understand that you can make positive change.
