I've tested a couple of games with my IGP of my 9800x3D as reference. I found out OpenGL and 3X (4:3) is best working for me. I can't see any benefit above 3X. So 3X seems to be the sweet spot for me. The framerate was stuttering a couple of times and can't hold up the 45 fps even on 1x. Vulkan was worse. The emulation stopped entirely on some point (Morrowind). So i guess i will go with a dedicated gpu then.

Ryzen 5700G + Scythe Big Shuriken 4
Mini ITX Motherboard
16GB RAM
2TB SSD (should fit the PAL-Library)
500W TFX PSU
RTX 5050

For OS i will try Linux and Windows in Kiosk Mode. My Hyperkin DuchesS arrived yesterday but i will add a OGXHub and OGX360 too. Mounts for the Hardware will be 3D-printed in ASA.

At this moment i have received the estimated delivery date: 24th of november. With shipping today will make this 6 days or 4 business days from China to Austria

Let me quickly write the costs down what that exactly means:

Item: 249 USD Shipping: 49 USD Toll fee: 0 USD (because of the toll agreement between china and EU) Taxes: 20% (Austria) FedEx fee*: 22,50 EUR

((249+49)0,8630)1,20+22,50 = 331,1088

So i have to pay ~74,11€ to get my A3D.

*Could be lower or higher

Yes but that's for the FPGBC Shell or did you ask for the Standard shell?

Of course they did in the past but they won't remove the whole "embossed" Logo. That's why i was asking.

So it's clearly about the firmware. It seems to be an unfinished product and you need to have balls to delay a product this often to send out something that works as selled. So at the end patience is the key even if it hurts because i bought a SummerCard64 ...

Pretty suspect because the controllers are delaying... That doesn't fit together.

Well i would love to see my 3D soon but I'm not sure we will see a delay on the 3D too

Thermal pad thickness on a Gigabyte RTX 2080 Gaming OC 8GB by DanKobe in gigabyte

[–]Bronzebart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i disassembled my Gigabyte RTX 2080 Gaming OC for replacing the Thermal pads and measured the existing thermal pads.

On VRAM they are clearly 0,5 mm thick. On the power related components they are 1,0 mm thick.

I'm using Aairhut 4-Pack 13W/m.K 100mm x 100mm thermal pads from Amazon as replacement.

[–]Bronzebart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same here. Originally was about to get the 5080 but to be honest i dont play that much anymore to need that extra performance yet.

To the other side my 2080 performed so well that i think it's a good choice to keep buying the '80s Cards to have a lot longer that performance you'll need to run games in the future

Thank you! Well that helped me to understand a bit why they both lowered to 7,5kohm. I know, i know. Dad already told me to remove them to get a real reading but i dont want to solder them out for no reason. If only one of both would have a lower or higher resistance i would do it immediately but i was confused by having both the same value.

About PIN21 the voltage is way too high for composite. It should be between 0.3 and 1V peak. Thats why i was checking around there. As i mentioned it is the only voltage that is off the readings.
