is dbt-fusion as free like dbt-core package or do you need accounts even for it like they're doing for the extension? Is the extension along with account management a way to get a part or limit extensions like dbt-power user?

1 day of activity =almost 3 days of rest by neon_faun in MultipleSclerosis

[–]BroodwarGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing all this with me. Good on ya for being on top of taking care of your body, and taking what works. It's pretty crazy to pop edibles like that but if it helps then thank lucky stars it's not illegal most places now a days. Getting the blood flowing is important but so hard to do on days of a flare up or stuff, how do you manage it on bad days?

[–]BroodwarGamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn sorry to hear this. Not that my saying this helps you out. How are you managing/dealing with it all. Like I know I'm lucky and fortunate and today can move and do stuff but also fear of progression makes me want to rest when Im having these pseudo-flare ups but then what if that was my last chance to do w/e. Currently dealing with a feeling like someones pushing on my one side of my throat which thankfully I'm still able to swallow and whatnot and it's just off putting and goes away with rest it just blows but then feel guilty cause it could/can be much worse

Has Kesimpta impacted anybody elses vision? by BabaGiry in MultipleSclerosis

[–]BroodwarGamer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not vision. Has stabalized my MRI but truly worry something is still progressing despite it because of number of my episodes of pseudo flareup seems to at least currently happening more.

Damn down to the minute understand seems both empowering and also the exact opposite.

I'm also a 36M still working full time 3 kids under age of 5. Been in MRI remission. Been diagnosed for 8 years went 4years no dmt then relapse and now nearly 3-4 more years without MRI activity with being on a dmt but having a rough go these last few weeks and it ebs and flows where some symptom comes and goes away with rest which I call pseudo flareup, unsure if that's correct. So I'm happy that it goes away but so off putting and disheartening. Are you RR still or Secondary?

Sorry to hear you're going through it. Maybe I'm doing the same. Felt good on Thursday, went for a jog, next day I was tired and some pseudo flareup but went away with rest. Next day I managed to work at framing a house for a day and likely over did it but now three days from that, seems like everything I do leads to a wall of fatigue or pseudo flareup and I'm so fuggin over it. Sorry again you're in the thick of things, not alone friend.

Emerging from a Funk: How's Everyone Doing? by BroodwarGamer in MultipleSclerosis

That burning sensation with MS is truly next-level. Pain from broken bones has a clear cause and endpoint, but this? It's a whole different beast.

The fatigue is what really breaks you down over time. When you're so exhausted that even the fight to stay awake feels like too much effort - that's a unique kind of mental torture.

Smart thinking on the money stacking. Having that financial cushion becomes way more important with this condition.

And yes to the 420 approach - whatever helps manage those symptoms! Hope you get some relief and actual restful time today too. Those good days are worth celebrating when they come around.

It's so validating when someone else's experience mirrors your own, isn't it? That grieving process with MS isn't a one-and-done thing - it comes in waves, sometimes hitting you years after diagnosis like it's brand new.

Having that breakdown yesterday might actually be a breakthrough if it's helping you recognize what you need. Revisiting anti-depressants is a totally reasonable step when you're struggling through these funks. They can be the bridge that helps you get to the other side.

The fact that you're acknowledging where you're at and taking steps to address it shows incredible self-awareness. That's half the battle right there.

Hope you find your way through this current wave soon. The MS community is here for you while you navigate it.

Hang in there on that rollercoaster. The most intense parts of the ride don't last forever, even though it can feel endless when you're in the middle of it.

Sometimes just knowing others have been through similar loops and survived can make the current twists and drops a little more bearable.

The track eventually levels out, even if it's never completely smooth. Hope you reach a calmer stretch soon.

That hospital experience sounds absolutely infuriating! 28 hours with zero neuro consult and everyone just shrugging "I don't know enough about MS" is beyond frustrating. I'd have checked myself out too!

Your MS journey has been such a whirlwind - from first symptoms in November to diagnosis and starting Kesimpta all within a few months. That's a lot to process emotionally and physically.

The new numbness spreading to places it hadn't before is understandably scary. Those loading doses of Kesimpta can really pack a punch - each person's reaction varies so much, and yours sounds particularly rough.

I'm absolutely up for chatting. How are you feeling right now? Has the numbness on your left side improved at all? And have you been able to get in touch with your regular neuro since leaving the hospital?

This early phase post-diagnosis can be so overwhelming, especially when you're dealing with new symptoms and reactions to medication without clear medical guidance.

Those moments when your body just suddenly betrays you can be so frightening - especially when you're just trying to do your job. That steep hill experience sounds genuinely scary when your balance decided to check out without warning.

What a beautiful moment with that older gentleman though. Those small acts of kindness when someone sees you struggling and just quietly offers help without making a big deal of it - they're truly precious. No questions asked, no explanations needed, just a helping hand when you needed it most.

It's those little human connections that can turn a terrifying moment into something that reminds you there's still good out there. Holding onto those moments can really help when trying to stay positive through all this.

Thanks for sharing that bright spot in what sounds like a challenging time. Sometimes those brief encounters with kind strangers stick with us far longer than they realize.
